Altara (Tapas - Bar - Restaurante) — Restaurant in Seville

I could say at first that I was very satisfied with my dishes. They were good, but not that I would give it 5 stars, also because Sangria that we ordered tasted a little cheap, like a simple juice. So why 2 stars. The next day, me and my girlfriend got a food poisoning, we spent in a bed/toilet for the whole day. And I assume because of this misfortune sangria or Octopus, that both of us had. I would not suggest to go to this place just because, they are obviously don't check their food or drink before serving.

We're absolutely sure, that we got a food poisoning in your restaurant because we didn't eat anywhere else, and this was last what we eat that day, so as we see what is coming out of us in the toilet!! If you say that this comment harms respect of your restaurant, then let it be. Maybe later you will take some actions and prevent such situations in the future, rather blaming us in...

The food and service at Altara are excellent. The tomatoes with burrata and pesto is outstanding. I wish I had a picture of the tagliatelle with prawns in pesto, it was just unbelievably delicious. The service was so good, we had multiple servers look after us. Christina is a doll and she was so happy we enjoyed our meal, she brought out the chef to meet us and share his culinary art. We loved Altara so much we ate there again the next day. The place was empty when we arrived early and within minutes, the place was at capacity, the mark of a truly great restaurant. It's the best restaurant i've tried here so far! The mouth-watering grilled salmon is a must try! The hake dish was really good too for those who like cod fish, their smoothie was so refreshing, we had potatos with sauces was so soft, not crunchy, but it tasted good for me, and the tomato dish with cheese and pesto is a must try starter for sure.
