I don’t normally complain, never post bad reviews. I’ve worked in hospitality jobs as a waiter and barista and have a lot of respect for the hard work restaurant staff do. However, the service we received at this place tonight was appalling and ruined our evening, so very much warrants a bad review. Upon arriving and getting scant, extremely reluctant attention from the waiting staff, we were informed the kitchen wouid be closing in 15mins and therefore we needed to place our tapas order all together, in one go. That was fine, no complaints - we placed our order for approx. 8 tapas dishes. After half had been served (average food, unremarkable) we were presented with a bill we hadn’t yet asked for, for the total amount. When we pointed out that half the meal hadn’t appeared, the waiter said plainly “I’ll take those off.” No apology, no explanation as to where the rest of our meal was, or why it hadn’t appeared. Another waiter eventually, very reluctantly, after quite some time, half-heatedly apologised, after I made it very clear we weren’t particularly happy to have been served only half a meal. No money or drinks were deducted from the bill. This fails to meet extremely basic restaurant service standards you’d expect to find in any McDonald’s or kebab shop the world over. The staff were surly, abrupt and clearly didn’t give a damn about us or anyone else they were serving. Diabolical service. Never seen the like of it in my...

Avoid this tourist trap at all costs. Despite Seville’s incredible dining scene, this place manages to deliver an aggressively mediocre experience wrapped in appalling service. Our Indian waiter was hands-down the most unprofessional server we encountered in Spain - dismissive, condescending, and seemingly irritated that customers dared to exist. When we asked for wine recommendations, he literally just pointed at the menu with the enthusiasm of someone reading a grocery list, offering zero insight or care.

The service failures were almost comically bad: we had to beg for basic plates to eat our tapas, watch him carelessly dump dishware around our table like he was feeding animals, and actually request help opening a bottle of water as we did not have a bottle opener. The fact that we had to ask for fundamental dining necessities speaks volumes about their complete lack of hospitality standards.

The restaurant tries to hide its mediocrity behind a busy atmosphere spread across three rooms, but don’t be fooled by the crowds - they’re likely just tourists who haven’t discovered Seville’s actually good restaurants yet. The pork jowl was decent, but that’s literally the only thing preventing this from being a complete disaster.

Save your euros and your evening. Seville has hundreds of restaurants that will treat you like a valued guest rather than an...

We came to this place for a dinner. The server brought us wine in dirty glasses which had pieces of something on them and stains of lipstick. I pointed it out and asked to replace. He rinsed them and brought them back with the same pieces rolling down the sides of the glasses all over again. I pointed it out again, so the server took the glasses and retreated to probably “clean” them again, but me and my friend were so disgusted by that time that we took our belongings and started leaving. All we ate by that time was a small bag of croutons and a couple of olives. The server saw us leaving, ran out of the restaurant and started yelling that we awe him money for the food that was coming. I responded to him that we did not eat anything and that we were disgusted by the experience, so we did not want anything. He was still yelling that it was us who were disgusting and that we awed him money. He made a whole scene with his yelling, people were staring. We left....

In the winding lanes of Santa Cruz, a tapestry of history, one may stumble upon a gem; Las Teresas stands as a testament to the heart of Sevilla. This sanctuary, a culinary muse, whispers tales of old through its flavors and walls. Here, the essence of tradition weaves into each dish served with abundance. The pork, bathed in whiskey’s bold embrace, and the tenderly stewed meat speak of a refined rustic charm. A poetic homage to this venue could dance around the harmonious blend of hearty food and the ambience of a bygone era, inviting wanderers to partake in a feast not just of the palate, but of the soul. As you lose yourself in Santa Cruz's alleys, Las Teresas becomes an unmissable beacon, a culinary lighthouse guiding the gastronomic adventurer to a shore where every meal is a verse in Sevilla's enduring sonnet.

A lovely tapas bar in Seville. Wondering the streets of Seville I passed by Las Teresas. I was taken a back by the quaint lighting, the buzz and the smell of olives. I was actually looking for another restaurant but was starving. I was seated at the bar. I made my order and was served quickly with charm a bread basket and olives. I ordered calamari and beef - the exact names I can't remember. I washed it down with Iced Tea. The calamari was cooked freshly- it was slightly overcooked but well seasoned , the outer coating light and crispy. The beef though came a while later perfectly seasoned and tender once bitten into. The fries it came with rustic and salted perfectly. The staff friendly and the vibe was warm and welcoming. Definitely would return here in future.

Authentic gem. A must visit Tapas bar. Bustling with character, top notch cuts of meat and great wines by the glass....or bottle. I've been twice this week and hope to squeeze in another visit before I leave Seville. We noticed the inside menu was slightly more extensive than the dining outside one . A tour guide told me, after I mentioned how good it seemed, this is one of the few places Guides go in town. Visit. Update...we went twice more and the hot dishes were equally superb in fact the best we had in Seville. Kobe Steak strips seared and beautifully seasoned. Pork jowls succulent....wow. in fact I'm going to have to downgrade one of my other reviews.
