Situated in the heart of a tourist destination and the staff doesn't speak or understand English. When we enquired about a type of wine on the menu since it was in Spanish the waiter simple vanished (who was in a hurry) and got us something like a cider. When we told him that we wanted red wine, he got us red wine. Only thing is that we have to pay for the drink he got us earlier as well, as told by him angrily. We were glad he understood that we wanted red wine or else we would've ended up drinking two drinks that we dint want. All this is happening while he is running near our table. Only pausing for a while. Food was below average, but the bull tail dish we had was nice, but then we were having it for the first time. Location was very good. Adding a photo of the bill to show that we did actually go there. The place was on the...
Read moreCame for dinner with my partner, wish we had read the reviews before hand. Service was average and food was very average. I ordered a paella and it came in a ‘hot plate’ which was cold. It was pretty much a bowl of flavoured rice, it had 2 muscles and 4 pieces of meat. I’ve had paella made with more love in Australia! My partnered ordered a few tapas plates one being the chicken stuffed with ham and cheese. It came out and looked like it was straight from a box in the freezer, he cut into it and no ham was to be seen. All tapas plates looked like they had just been thrown on a plate and looked very unappealing. The patatas bravas, were just hot chips with chill and Mayo sauce thrown all over it. On top of all that it was quite pricey compared to other places surrounding. Will not be...
Read moreManaged to get a street side table and was impressed by the friendleness, and the English language skills of the two staff who served us. We chose from the daily menu at €12.90 each for entree, main and dessert or coffee.. The food provided was in generous serves, good standard and excellent value for money. We opted for coffee which was good. And enjoyed a sangria each as part of the price. The street is quite busy at 9pm being the chosen evening meal time in Seville but not annoyingly so. There are plenty of tables inside or in the lane way at the side if you can get one. I would thoroughly recommend to budget conscious travelers for a good honest value meal. Tapas are...
