Cathedral Steakhouse Restaurant — Restaurant in Seville

Server was alone on a Friday night, but the place only has 8-10 seats, so should not have been a problem. We were seated promptly, and ordered wine, salad starter, and a couple of steaks. Wine was good, and salad was fine. So far so good. The came the steaks. I ordered mine medio hetche (medium rare) and my companion ordered his medium well. First pass, both the steaks came out blue. Not rare, but seared and raw. Sent them back. 2nd pass, mine came out rare and his medium rare. Sent back. 3rd pass, came out super well done. Basically charcoal. At that point, I asked for the check. This cook (I hesitate to call him chef) does not know basic temps for beef. Dinner here seamed like a good idea, but unfortunately our experience was just awful. Sold a porterhouse... and had no filet. Was sold a new york with bone. No part of it was a filet. Was not a tbone either. Server argued Galicia cows.. don't have filets? Utter ignorance. Quality of food may be there but they don't know what they are serving. Asked for medium and was given blue rare and a plate to sear it myself. We had salad, wine and two entrees. The salad was great. The wine delicious! The meat was VERY undercooked - both times we sent it back and then came out like leather. People sat after us (two different tables) got their food first and our entrees came out separately. On the third attempt to get it right (and we used a translator to communicate) I ate mine (only because I was very hungry). My partner did not - it was very over cooked. WE WERE STILL CHARGED FOR BOTH ENTREES! If you are going to boast about being the best steakhouse in the area, live up to it....
