During my recent visit to Seville, I stumbled upon a charming restaurant just a stone's throw away from the majestic Seville Cathedral. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of traditional Spanish decor and modern touches.
But the highlight of my dining experience was undoubtedly the seafood paella. It was, without a doubt, the best I have ever tasted. The rice was cooked to perfection, infused with rich flavors from the fresh seafood that adorned the dish. Shrimp, mussels, clams, and squid – each bite was a delightful explosion of taste, perfectly complemented by the subtle saffron aroma.
The service was impeccable, with friendly staff who made me feel welcome and ensured I had everything I needed. The location, just minutes from the cathedral, made it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a meal after a day of sightseeing.
If you find yourself in Seville, make sure to visit this gem of a restaurant for an unforgettable culinary experience. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this place will leave you with a satisfied palate and...
Read moreWe were very disappointed by our meal at this restaurant. The building is beautiful and very old, the waiters look the part, but... service was indifferent at best. We were not treated as welcome guests, rather something to put up with. The food, too, was mediocre. The 'tropical salad' had nothing of the tropics about it: sad, lukewarm salad with a few prawns and a nondescript dressing. Mixed fried fish was fine, but came with a small portion of chiplet 'chips' despite me asking for chips.(which I later saw on someone else's dish, so available). The dessert we wanted wasn't available and were told in a very offhand manner what was available. The resulting cheesecake was unimpressive. It took ages to get the bill, which is not unusual in busy Spanish restaurants, but it wasn't very busy at that stage. We took it as another example of us not being important to the staff. The Casco Viejo area, where the restaurant is located , was teeming with tourists. We got the impression that once-good restaurants have now become blasé about filling their tables and staff have stopped making an effort. What a shame. For...
Read moreIncredible staff - let me start with this. The night before Palm Sunday and very crowded with the processions. They knew we were waiting and they got us in asap. The wait staff was excellent, kind and helpful. The food was very good as well. Our waited did an excellent job of pacing our meal and we had a wonderful, leisurely dinner. My daughter left her phone in the restaurant and 45 minutes plus after leaving the and a mad dash back, they recognized us and rhe phone was in my daughter's hand in seconds. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and quality of food. I strongly encourage you to try this excellent restaurant. The cheese plate, grilled prawns and beef cheeks were very good. The dessert, poleas - was delicious - we didn't finish it but so rich and...
