Gottan Grill Sevilla — Restaurant in Seville

I walked by this place one night and the people sitting outside eating had dishes with burgers and steak that looked and smelled so good that I knew I had to check it out. I went for a late lunch/early dinner and ordered a medium rare burger, a little pink in the middle. When I got it, it looked amazing!! You can see they use quality ingredients and portions are large. Unfortunately, it was way undercooked. Very raw in the middle. I told the waiter that it was not cooked to my liking as requested and he said it's already made and there's nothing that could be done. Luckily there was another employee within ear shot who overheard the conversation and said they could take it back and cook it longer. I'm not sure if she was a manager, but my burger was cooked to my liking and the whole meal was delicious! Overall the staff was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed it so much that I returned the next day and ordered a different burger asking for medium well done this time. Totally different staff, equally friendly and even more attentive. Wonderful experience and the food was at the same level as the previous visit. It's a shame I don't live in Sevilla or I would be a regular there. Well, maybe that's a good thing after all. Either way, I highly recommend going here. I understand there are several locations in a few different cities in Spain so I will be keeping an eye...

Comida bien, servicio fatal. Por un lado, los entrantes: bolas de dragón deliciosas, alitas también muy buenas, lo más regular fueron las patatas gratinadas que por arriba bien pero en la segunda capa ya no tenían ni queso ni nada, solo patatas. Por el precio que se paga deberían cuidar esos detalles. Las hamburguesas muy buenas, aunque teniendo en cuenta el altísimo nivel que hay en otros locales de Sevilla... tampoco son sobresalientes, creo que las hay mejores, le podría notable.

Sin embargo, el servicio... pongo un 1 porque no se puede poner - 10, hasta el punto de sentir apuro por los camareros... parecía una cámara oculta. TODO MAL. Había como 3 camareros distintos atendiendo nuestra mesa y ni uno aprobaba... Preguntamos a uno qué nos recomiendan y nos dicen la madre de dragones pero que no les queda foie... ¿? sin embargo, a la media hora llega una mesa de 10 y les ponen las hamburguesa con paté; otra compañera parecía que iba a tirarme la bandeja de bebidas encima, literalmente apoyándola en mi hombro; nos traían las bebidas confundidas; algunos tuvimos que comer la hamburguesa sin beber porque por más que insistimos NADIE nos traía la bebida después de pedirla 5 veces...cuando por fin se acerca la compañera nos mira con mala cara y nos pregunta que a quién le hemos pedido poniéndonos en duda... mientras que su compañera se excusaba señalando a esta otra por ser más nueva... en ningún momento nos pidieron disculpa. Lo mejor de todo es que tras 15 minutos o más esperando la cuenta de los 7 que éramos 5 se levantaron a fumar, y al verlos irse se acerca corriendo a decir que había que pagar....... (obvio, de lo contrario nos hubiéramos ahorrado la espera de 15 minutos), empieza a insistirnos a las 2 que nos quedamos sentadas preguntando que QUIÉN va a pagar sin dejarnos tiempo ni de mirar el ticket. A los 5 minutos, con algunas personas aún fuera vuelve a insistir poniéndome el datáfono para que pagase, le digo amablemente que estamos organizando bizum etc. y me suelta "bueno, no creo que haya problema si pagas tú y el resto te hace bizum... si sois amigos... seréis de fiar" literalmente no sabía donde meterme. Lo más gracioso es que no se había acercado en toda la noche a nuestra mesa, pero a la hora de pagar justo no se despegaba... En fin CERO profesionalidad... A todo esto llegó un chico nuevo que empezó a atender la otra mesa y sí fue super correcto, simpático, amable y profesional (no sé si era el encargado, que iría a poner algo de orden en esa locura...), lo poco que nos atendió fue un 10. Una pena que un solo chico tenga que tirar del carro.

Me da pena poner solo 3 estrellas, pero teniendo en cuenta el nivel de Sevilla un sitio a este precio no puede permitirse este servicio... con el precio que se paga deberían dar un servicio de calidad.

En definitiva, para ir con amigos sin prisas tiene un pase... Para ir con tu pareja o tu familia si esperas un trato de calidad, mejor vete a otro local que vas a comer igual (o mejor) y te van a atender...

Grim. We entered as it was supposed to be opened but they were not yet staffed. When we ordered, several things were not available. Then the order was wrong leaving my daughter without a meal. When we asked for another chicken we were told it wasn’t available. The chicken that we did get wasn’t very well cooked and wasn’t very pleasant. Kids meal was ok but the pouch of yogurt was served underneath a hot meal. Service leaved a lot to be desired and the toilets are the worst stink I’ve ever encountered anywhere in Spain. Puts you off your food. Yes there are a few nice neon lights but it doesn’t help....
