Ok. So most people think that tacos, burritos and quesadillas are real Mexican food. It’s not. That’s tex mex and I am a huge fan of it - just saying because you won’t find them here. This place had dishes that I’ve never ever seen before and I am sooooo glad we managed to get a table as walk ins at 8:45 ish pm. By 9:15 place was packed. The decor is crazy af but on point. It’s Mexican to the max. And thank god there were No sugar skulls anywhere to be seen. The guava drink ( non alcoholic) was one of the best refreshing drinks I’ve had in AAAAGES ! The service was great. 2 ppl at front 2 at the back - well done guys - you managed to produce dishes and drink with super speed. Which is most of the time a huge negative. Not in this case. Well … I do feel that alcoholic drinks are pre mixed so maybe see how you can improve that and maybe make them fresh to order. It does make a difference. Food was soo awesome. Every dish was new to us. We didn’t know what to expect. And we were so pleased with each of the dishes we had. It had flavour- depth - more complex notes and it was exciting. I found myself kinda dancing in my seat and humming the music while I hoovered this food down. The salsa on the side is great idea. If it was up to me I’d like it more hotter ( spicier) then the ones you have so maybe introduce a spicier option for those that like it. NOTE : the pics I’ve taken don’t do justice to these dishes. So look past that please -must have been the position of the lights. So don’t judge them based...

Read moreAlthough we didn’t have a reservation, the staff graciously accommodated us, which was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance, though, as this place gets quite busy — and after experiencing the food and atmosphere, it’s easy to see why!
