This little shop hidden in the big shopping street of Sierpes is an absolute gem! They specialize in handmade ceramics using traditional methods and have been doing this for 4 generations. We spoke with the current shop owner who is the grandson of the store’s founders. He was passionate about his family’s work and was more than happy to share the history and knowledge of handmade hand painted ceramics. Seville is a city full of ornate ceramic tiles so artisans here know a thing or two about that. The quality here is awesome and the level of detail on the intricate designs is amazing. Such a wonderful little shop, a family business that handcraft ceramic tiles and other decorations (like the ones seen on buildings through out Sevilla), one of the family members there explained to us the whole story, process, and whatever we were interested in. Got to visit again after few years. Superb quality, traditional designs are just divine, designs by few generations of Seville based ceramic artists. If you are lucky you can meet the youngest gen in the show or at least see video of them applying decorative glazes.
