Every trip to Sevilla should include a brunch in Mercado de Triana. Europe's food halls are a great place to explore a wide range of local cuisine in one place and this is no different, albeit on a much lesser scale. Nonetheless some real gems are to be found, which brings me to Obrador La Osa.
Hiding in plain sight is this Mom & Pop type stall with a layout similar to what you would find in an obscure weekend farmers market. Very little English spoken but that's hardly an obstacle. What you see is what you get. Just point at what you fancy and hopefully what you see turns out to be what you imagined. Often it's not.

This doesn't have the polished appearance of a Michelin dish, but it's plenty good in terms of taste and just plain old satisfying.
PS. I mentioned brunch at the start because only 80 % of the stalls were open at 11am. By 12.30pm, everything was open. By 4pm,...
