It's a tourist trap, try to avoid it. At first, there were no prices on the menu which might be a warning sign but well, you know that usually, the food is good at the market so we decided to carry on. The second warning sign was service - the waitress tried to avoid eye contact and took orders from the four tables with people who arrived after us. It also might be fine if the food were amazing, but it was not. In the beginning we even thought that we got covid as black rice had no taste or smell - it was just rice boiled in water without salt or any fish there - just a bit of ink and a spoon of aioli sauce smashed over the plate (well, plus two bits of deep fried calamari added on the top). The revuelto comes with tasteless mushrooms cooked without any oil or salt or spices. Probably it was a trainee in the kitchen who had just started to learn cooking. Because the croquetas appeared really good and tasty - definitely someone else made them. But most of all we were amazed when the bill arrived - the rice was 12 euros and revuelto cost the same - for this price you may get a decent portion of delicious food almost anywhere else in Seville. So in terms of quality and price balance this experience was below zero, a typical tourist trap...

I had the menu del dia here, which was 14 euros. The food was pretty good and the service was excellent. I came at about 3:15 pm on a thursday, which might be after their usual rush. I had the salmorejo (cold tomato soup), merluza en salsa verde (spanish hake on green sauce) and flan as the postre. The menu del dia also came with 2 small pieces of bread and a bag of picos. The waitresses there were attentive and I was able to get seated, order, get each my dishes and get the bill in a...

I had lunch in this restaurant inside the Triana Market. The place is very little and crowded, but the service was very fast. The plates were so and so: we had Jamon y Queso as a starter, then Carrillada Iberica and Solomillo al Whisky as main courses. The meat was good but the french fries were completely soaked in oil. Prices are quite low (12€ for the main course). Overall not a bad place but neither among the best in Seville.

We had fried chocos and androvies, each sided with salad, very much needed instead of French fries in this heat. We also ordered a chicken salad and risotto with mushrooms. The risotto is so tasty that my kids ate them all and I had to order another one for myself. After all, excellent lunch! Love the vibe in the market.
