Purita - De vuelta al Origen. BRUNCH, BREAKFAST AND COFFEE — Restaurant in Seville

I don’t know if we came at an off time or if one of the two staff members was in training, but this cafe did not reflect its high ratings. The staff was nice, but the service slow. With only 2 other tables besides ours, it took about 10 minutes to bring our coffee after ordering. There was nice music playing when we came in, then it ended and was silent for the next 20 or so minutes, during which a woman came in and showed off her home videos at full volume to the staff. The table next to us ordered a waffle and a goat cheese dish. The waffle took a couple attempts to make (first one burnt, second one wasn’t fully cooked and stuck to the iron, which they scraped off and applied it back to the rest of the waffle, covering it up with avocado) and the other dish came with cheddar instead of goat cheese (“goat cheese” was the name of the dish). It eventually got corrected. Our coffee was quite weak (weaker than any other americano on the trip) and the food (mango banana bowl and porridge) was just OK. Atmosphere was nice and cozy. J'ai bien aimé m'arrêter chez Purita De Vuelta al Origen, ce bar qui sert de bons petits déjeuners et des brunchs  savoureux et copieux le matin dès 9h à Séville. Il est bien noté avec 4,6 / 5. On peut s'installer sur une des tables à l'intérieur, c'est assez spacieux ou sur sa terrasse de rue bien sympathique. Sur la terrasse il n'y a que deux tables ! C'est dans le quartier Antiguo (Centre) à 150 m au nord de l'Antiquarium. Le café se trouve aux 14-16 Calle de Jerónimo Hernández, E-41003 Sevilla.

L'intérieur est un espace agréable avec une ambiance douce et décontractée, idéal pour se détendre avec un café et une pâtisserie. La terrasse extérieure est dans la rue avec seulement 2 tables mais elle est agréable.

J'ai apprécié la qualité des cafés, notamment les expressos et les cafés filtres d'origine unique. Les pâtisseries et les tartes faites maison sont également très bonnes. Le service est excellent, avec un personnel attentif et sympathique.

concept is great, but barely accomplished. very messy, bags of avocado and bananas on the floor, they burnt my friends croissant, then replaced it with one that wasn’t even toasted? the eggs benedict i ordered had an odd flavor, couldn’t even eat them, salmon seemed half smoked, half raw with a lot of nerves. never seen this before. and don’t even get me started on the bacon. anyways, i asked for maple syrup (since the waffles were the only edible thing), and they gave me agave instead. plus, the math was all wrong in the end. if they had a full house i could probably let it pass, but the place was empty, so there’s no excuse for such poor execution. hope they train their staff...
