Hunting round for a nice Pizza and based on other’s reviews, we went for Pizzaria da Simona. Brilliant!! We were so glad to find a nice quiet place after such a busy and noisy day. The surroundings are basic, don’t expect posh tablecloths, etc, but it was soo like the old Italian cafes I remember growing up in the east end of London in the ‘50’s -‘60’s. In fact we have something similar in Norwich now! I had a couple beers which were very well priced and Linda had a tonic water for a change. Looking at past reviews, they say that the chef is Italian, not just that, he’s a Magician who’ll conjure up whatever you fancy if it’s not on the menu. My Mexicana Pizza was well hot and spicy enough to keep me busy between beer and Pizza and Linda had a vegetarian pizza, full of flavour, but too big for her to finish.
