We stumbled across this place and were pleasantly surprised by everything. We arrived around 1pm for lunch. The owner greeted us and informed us they have a reservation for 2pm and we can choose to dine there. He didn’t pressure us or anything- and said he didn’t want to rush us. An hour was just the right amount of time for us. The owner was so nice- he translated and explained everything to us since they didn’t have an English menu. I really wanted paella but it had game meat, which I can’t eat. He offered to pick out all the pieces for me - but that would’ve been too much to ask… it was so nice that he offered to do that. We had the potato brava, mushroom dish, and pork cheeks. He recommended all these local dishes and we were happy we said yes. Everything was delicious. The pork cheeks literally melted in my mouth. I bet the paella would’ve been divine as well. We overheard him giving his chef tips to make the paella- so I bet you he makes amazing food. The restaurant was small but it filled up pretty quickly. RESERVATION IS A MUST. Thank you again for such a great time. Will visit again...

While we visited here looking to enjoy a nice serving of Paella, but we came at a slightly off meal time and finding ourselves too full to eat Paella, but was still treated to a cooking showcase of the Paella. Boy that is some huge impressive plate of paella!
The owner I believe who spoke English to us was so nice to recommend the right amount of food to us, nothing short of spectacular on the squid eggs and that stewed lamb with rice (the menu was mostly in English but the owner and Google came to rescue!). the soup and anchovy was nothing short of amazing. Got to say the servings of bread really came in to let me savour all the sauces!
Very nice ambient, great food and...
Read moreOur best meal in Seville! We had walked past this place many times wanting to try and finally found the opportunity the day before we were due to leave and it exceeded expectations. The owner/chef greeted us and gave us very good recommendations! He talked us through each dish as it arrived which added a special touch. It's clear how passionate he is about his food and that certainly comes across in the flavours. We had two tapas to start (Iberian ham and a special cod/pepper dish - I didn't catch the name unfortunately) followed by the Iberian paella and Valencia paella. The food was too good that we couldn't resist dessert as well (3 chocolate mousse and a whiskey mousse!) All were delicious including the wines...
