Taberna La Quedá de Triana — Restaurant in Seville

We came here expecting a nice flamenco atmosphere and authentic Sevillian food, but instead, we were clearly scammed. The prices were significantly higher than those shown on their website. For example, we were charged €5 for a single beer, which is outrageous for Seville.

The portions were shockingly small and the quality was poor, especially considering the inflated prices. It's a bit suspicious taking into account that we are not locals. When we complained to the waiters, they simply said that their online menu hadn't been updated yet, as if that justified the overcharging.

The flamenco ambiance was the only thing we seemed to enjoy, but even that felt like a lure to justify the overpriced food. Absolutely not worth it. We left...

My wife and I came here based on a recommendation from a friend and we are so happy we did!! Everything was FANTASTIC! We don’t speak Spanish very well, nor are we locals, and yet we were welcomed immediately and felt like we were transported to a truly authentic Triana flamenco experience. Our server was excellent - he recommended the ox tails which were delicious, as were the tortilla with whisky sauce and the chicharrones.
