The Buccaneer — Restaurant in Tías

Thought we would give this place a try because it looked busy most days. I saw on here, there were a few bad reviews about one member of staff, but thought that it could have been a few people that just wanted to have a moan. However...they were right to moan....the lady is probably one of the rudest waitresses I've ever had to deal with. Telling me to move my seat and table, even though we had only just arrived, and it was the bar staff that had placed the table and chairs there. She could have asked nicely, but her toan and words were not pleasant. She then brought over the drinks, and we said thank you in a very nice manner, and she totally ignored us. The couple on the next table asked her for a couple more drinks, and they were met with a rude response saying "you'll have to wait, it's busy!!!" Not sure if she owns the place, or the owner is petrified of her....either way, she shouldn't be in hospitality with such a...

Definitely our favourite bar of our stay. We ate here probably 6 of the 10 nights. All food from the Sunday lunches, burgers, fish & chips & homemade pies to mention just a few were spot on. Prices for food & drink very similar to the other bars on the front but from our experience the service was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and always very easy and pleasant to deal with. The bingo/quiz night was an unexpected hit with the group of 8 as was the live music night (Reggae but also covered other stuff) I forget his name but he was very good. Whilst in Lanzarote we have visited the buccaneer 3 times in a short amount of time as we really enjoyed it here, however tonight was definitely our last time. We were a family of 7 and got 2 rounds of drinks, 2 extra drinks were added onto our bill totalling just over 9 euros, when we went to tell staff we didn’t once get an apology, just attitude and rudeness and multiple staff members denying it. If you visit this bar I would recommend thoroughly checking your bill...
