Pizza Time — Restaurant in Teguise

The location was great so I stopped to eat. Well, worst pizza ever. Sat down and it was 10 minutes before I was served. Only 2 other tables occupied. When the beer eventually came, it was warm. At €3.40 they could have tried a bit. From ordering pizza to arrival was 25 minutes. At least I didn’t have to worry about the beer getting warm ☹

It looked great when it came buy ¾ of it had no tomato base. The base was soggy and tasteless. I normally eat the base and give my dog the crust, but this time I ate the crust and gave the dog the horrible soggy base. When the waiter asked how it was, I showed him all the plain white bits of base I was giving to the dog. He came back 5 minutes later shouting at me. I don’t remember ordering a portion of shouting.

The toppings were OK so I shifted them onto the 2 bits of base that had some tomato on.

When I paid the bill, the waiter started shouting at me again.

I’ve had better supermarket pizzas. And I didn’t get...

I had a hankering for a Belgian beer and the display of bottles in the shop front roped me in.

Unfortunately there was only "Leffe Blonde" available and its not my favourite.

The waitress suggested an Italian beer at 9% alcohol as an alternative so I gave it a try; it wasn't bad.

The pizzas are varied, my favourite is Florentina but its not on the menu. The waitress asked for the ingredients and a quick Google search returned them.She hurried to the kitchen and the chef confirmed that he could make an approximation; he didn't have spinach so a type of broccoli was substituted along with Iberico ham instead of Parma.

The resultant pizza was very tasty and generously loaded with ham and the base was well baked.

An amazing little restaurant. The service is incredible and the food is irresistible.

This restaurant is very popular and for good reasons.

It's run by two fantastic people that not care about the food their serving but the people who come in.

Nothing is too much trouble and the ENTIRE experience is sublime.

Highly highly recommend this Italian restaurant to anyone.

You might be on a Spanish island but everyone loves Italian and this restaurant is the place to go.

If you want to taste real Italian food - This is a must!!
