This fusion Spanish restaurant specializes in a wide selection of game meats. The space is thoughtfully divided into three sections: a bar with high stools at the entrance, a semi-formal dining area in the middle, and a bright formal room at the back. The staff are friendly and helpful, and menus are available in both English and Spanish.

We tried the Menú Tradición, priced at 39.90 EUR per person. It began with a small appetizer—bread served with three types of extra virgin olive oil—followed by four fixed dishes: Salmorejo, Flor de Calabacín Rellena, Bacalao Dorado en su Parmentier, and Tronco de Ciervo Marinado en Cerveza y Miel. The dessert featured white chocolate, coffee cream, chocolate chips, and popping candy. All the dishes were delicious, with my personal favorites being the stuffed zucchini flower and the marinated venison—rich, flavorful, and balanced, especially appealing to Asian palates.

Recommended by Michelin and Repsol for several years in a row, the restaurant offers generous portions at a fair price. However, the ordering policy is quite strict: for tasting menus, everyone at the table must choose the same menu; for à la carte, all guests are required to order at least one portion of the same dishes. What surprised me most is that they do not allow any adjustments based on allergies or personal dietary preferences. I’ve visited many Michelin-recommended and starred restaurants, and this is the first time I’ve encountered such inflexibility. Personally, I believe offering some degree of customization would enhance the experience—both for the guest and the kitchen—such as letting diners choose from a selection of items within each course. I hope to return in the future to explore more of the menu—and hopefully see some improvements to the current...

Didn’t expect to find such level of culinary mastery and service in Toledo, but I’m sure glad I had the honor of dining in such a fine establishment. The decor of this place was modern chic and I adored the clean white setting. The place was well-lit and bright which allowed me to actually see what I was eating. This place feels like fine dining but at an affordable price (relatively speaking). I would suggest going for a few of the small plates as appetizers (3-4 would be sufficient), and then getting a main to share. I enjoyed the crab ravioli and the scallop, but what really caught my attention was the butter fish (which I got as my main course). The flavors from the fish matched with the pickles and butter gave the dish such a delightful complexity. Also, the wait staff who attended to my table was very efficient and professional. She was able to give me very good recommendations and even took the time to explain each dish… her service finesse really made all the difference to make me feel like I’m eating in a...

When I first walked in, the host visibly looked surprised to see me and then was shocked that I had a reservation.

We were quickly sat and I noticed that the restaurant was semi-empty for a lunch service. Despite that, it took our waiter nearly 15 minutes to return to our table—I had to flag them down for water. It then took an unusually long time for the waiter to return again time to place our order. He sheepishly placed bread on our table without the special salts and olive oil. I had to request it and he gave a half-hearted and quick explanation on what they were. I observed the other three tables around me receive attentive and quick service. The restaurant was not busy.

I had to cancel dessert and request the check during as we ate our last dish, just so I didn’t have to flag our waiter down again.

It’s such a shame that the poor service overshadowed the quality of the food. We enjoyed each dish, but felt ‘othered’ and ignored for...
