Amazing place near the Roman Circus—we stopped here randomly for a quick drink but ended up staying for 2 hours! They give you free tapas (anchovies, olives, and fried pig skin) for every drink. It was better than some heavily reviewed places near the main attractions—you really have to get off the touristy place to enjoy some of the real local’s experience. This place is amazing! It’s a little hidden, but it’s so worth it. We asked for non-gluten options and they were more than prepared, offering everything from non-gluten bread to delicious meals. We ordered croquetas, which were amazing, and the presa iberica with caramelised onion and it was probably the best meat we’ve ever tried! They have some specials which don’t appear in the menu, but they are delicious. The staff is super friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome in the restaurant.
