deli_rant vlc — Restaurant in Valencia

Really good restaurant and super friendly. We were on the fly looking for a place to eat (as our toddler needed to eat asap). Walked in at random and walked out super happy!

The menu consisted of a combination of starters, small bites and full size main courses. We chose for our party of five to combine a number of starters and sharing dishes. Every single one of them was super nice! Some of them don’t indicate an amount on the card, but the staff kindly mentioned if it was only one piece (like a croquette) and asked if we wanted more than one.

Food came super fast, and was a feast! Especially the gnocchi brava was to die for!

They also looked after our toddler, she got a special baby chair and they even offered her a toddler book to look in when we were...

Nothing is what it seems and it is confusing. But that is in my opinion what sets them apart from other restaurants. Their menu is vague(done on purpose I heard) in order to surprise you.

We had a 4 course meal and had some nice beers. The 4 course meal was AMAZING. The food was super tasty, possibly even the best I have ever had. You would think that it would be expensive then right? No, 30 euro's was the price of the menu and it would even be good for three times the price.

Apart from the food, the girl that helped us was super friendly and even gave us some great suggestions for both beer and food.

I am really glad we went for dinner here, we might even come back...

We decided to stop by this place while staying in Valencia for two days. Surprised by the friendly service that we got (in English as well!) while getting a drink there, we decided to come back later in the evening for dinner.

The service was as great as it was during the afternoon, and the food was absolutely delicious. The only possible issue people might have, would be the price/ quantity ratio.
