Egeo Suvlakeria Griega, Russafa — Restaurant in Valencia

We opted for the tasting menu, which (normally) means sampling a variety of dishes to share and enjoying a leisurely lunch. While the food itself was tasty, the overall experience fell short.

Once we ordered, all 5 dishes arrived within less than 10 minutes. I even asked after a few dishes came out quickly if they could hold off on the main course because it was all coming too fast, but they wouldn’t budge.

Naturally, we prioritized eating the warm dishes first to keep them from getting cold, leaving the dips for last , not the balanced or relaxed dining experience we had envisioned.

The service began on a very friendly and helpful note, but after the food was served, we didn’t see anyone for over an hour. Sitting outside on the terrace, we were left with all the plates still on our table and no way to request extra drinks or assistance.

Unfortunately, this made for a disappointing visit, despite the quality of the food. Better pacing of dishes and more attentive post-service would greatly improve...

I recently visited this cafe, and while the food was good, the service was awful. As a pregnant woman, I made a reservation in advance, expecting a comfortable dining experience. However, upon arrival, we were seated at a table with chairs that had no back support. When I requested a table with a sofa, they refused. I then asked for a regular chair, but this was also denied, despite the cafe being only 30% occupied with plenty of free tables and chairs available.

Trughout our meal, different waitstaff approached us three times to ask if we had finished, even though we still had food on our plates. This constant interruption was very disruptive. Ultimately, we decided to leave early. By the time we left, the cafe was still only about 50% full.

Overall, while the food was enjoyable, the poor service and lack of consideration for customer comfort were extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this place, especially for those who require a bit more comfort and...

Extremely rude and disrespectful attitude from the waiter who was in charge of the shift. (a young guy with a beard, maybe gay, which explains everything. However, we are tolerant) First, he refused to accommodate us, even though there were seats. His argument was that they had a reservation, and there was neither a sign,or people waiting. However, we waited for 2 tables outside on the terrace and sat down by ourselves. We were served by a waiter from Argentina, who, despite having a hard time taking the order, was extremely kind! For which we thank him! The food comes close to Greek cuisine, although not exactly, but it was delicious! Every year we visit Greece several times and I know how the service and food should be.
