Gavo's Streetfood — Restaurant in Valencia

Great burger. Average service. We stopped by just as the restaurant opened up for the day and sat outside. The menu is extensive and the variety of burgers impressive; we each opted for the ‘Billy Goat’, a goats cheese and caramelised onion burger, as well as a side of BBQ chicken wings.

The wings and chips were delicious - saucy, crispy and well cooked. The burger was great too - quality patty and bun, you could tell why this place is popular.

On the downside there was a bit too much goats cheese and not enough caramelised onion in my burger - which made it a little dry, although still very enjoyable. It was also difficult to get basic condiments - I asked for salt and my partner asked for mayo - we were given a tub of ketchup and mustard instead 😂

I would go again, and be more demanding of my drinks and...

the potions are large and have high quality. i was there with 8 friends and we didn't have to wait long for our food.

Very friendly and attentive staff.

The restaurant have SPANISH and ENGLISH menus and everyone speak fluent in English also.

It is also a great place if you are not from spain.

The drinks and cocktails are also fantastic.

Sitio que destaca por la calidad de las hamburguesas y también por los entrantes (¡pedid los nachos!), y las raciones son generosas.

Pedimos para compartir los nachos 'órale ignacios' con jalapeños (se añaden con un suplemento de 1.50 €), y las patatas 'brutalmente', que eran tipo gajo y llevaban queso fundido, bacon y cebolla. Las patatas paraban algo secas, porque la guarnición que llevan contribuye a ello, y les faltaba algo de sabor, quizá mezclarlas con otro queso sería mejor.

Los nachos, en cambio, estaban ESPECTACULARES, diría que son los mejores que he probado. Se sirven con queso cheddar, carne picada, pico de gallo, salsa mexican, salsa agria y guacamole. El toque de la salsa agria, tan cremosa, era una delicia. Por poner una pega: me parecen algo caros.

En cuanto a las hamburguesas, son BRUTALES. Yo me pedí la 'pampa': carne de vacuno, bacon, tomate, cebolla, chorizo criollo, salsa chimichurri, salsa criolla y mayonesa. Estaba buenísima, super sabrosa con el toque del chorizo y el chimichurri. A tener en cuenta que si quieres que venga acompañada con patatas, se paga sumplemento.

De postre probamos la cheesecake y los tequeños de nutella con helado. Estaba rico pero sin pasarse. Pensábamos que la cheesecake era tipo tarta, pero es en tarrina, tipo yogurt. A la próxima...
