Margarita — Restaurant in Valencia

It's really difficult to find good Mexican food in Valencia. We tried Restaurante Margarita tonight, for take out. It smelled great when we arrived and a friendly woman from Ecuador took our order: enchiladas with salsa verde, a burrito and tacos cocinita pibil.

Everything was good, and the tacos were really good. I especially liked how the taco filling was packaged separately and they gave us a generous stack of delicious corn tortillas. We added some cilantro, pickled onions and salsa of our own. I am looking forward to trying their carnitas and al pastor next time.

To improve, I would like to see them provide salsa, jalapeños, pickled onions, and some fresh cilantro. They did include a small portion of thinly sliced red onion and shredded iceberg lettuce but those were very bland and uninteresting.

An incredible hidden gem in the heart of Valencia. Went with a large group of friends and everything was fantastic. The menu has a great variety of dishes and there’s something for everyone. I tried the shrimp ceviche, cochinita taco, and shrimp taco. Would recommend it all! My friend had the vegan pastor tacos and said they were some of the best vegan tacos she’s ever had. The service was excellent and you really feel the love and passion for the food throughout the whole experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food in Valencia. I got to seat outside because if you do not have reservation, even with the restaurant empty, you can't get a table. I was fine with it but I felt like the initial way they said it was kind of rude, so I won't be giving them 5 starts.
