It was going so well but then they messed up badly...

The restaurant is amazing with good vibes and good service. We initially ordered their version of bravas and chicken croquettes which were both very good.

However we then made the mistake of ordering burgers.... we ordered them well done for the simple reason that unlike steak, food safety typically recommends burgers being well cooked. My burger was fine, but my wife's was still literally seeping blood from the centre. I am not talking about reddish or pinkish centre but literally red liquid which seeps onto the plate when you take a bite.

We flagged this to the waiter and the solution was microwaving it (the microwave is behind the kitchen door which has a glass window) and replating the mess into a safer albeit more rubbery version.

I would totally have expected a restaurant of this caliber to take food safety more seriously. Whilst mistakes do happen, one would expect that in such situations the dish is remade properly.

Whilst I would have loved to recommend this place, sadly I will remember it as a ruined lunch...

In short: food pretty good, service pretty poor.

We were in a group of four. The starters were really good, especially the tuna tartar and the Peruvian causa limeña with octopus. One of our group hadn't ordered a starter and it was a bit odd that their main was served at the same time as everybody else's starters, but no big deal. The mains and desserts were fine, so all in all decent food.

But the service was just rather frustrating. We had three servers in total but none of them seemed to keep an eye, so if we wanted another drink, or the wine list, or to have our plates (finally) cleared away then we had to keep craning our necks and trying to attract someone's attention. While not locals, we are living in Valencia for some time and so it was rather disappointing to be treated like transient tourists rather than guests who might visit again and recommend to friends. It is unlikely that we will be back; many other more friendly places in town that also...

We came here for dinner the other night and it was delicious! It’s on the Michelin guide for good reason. Their Asian fusion foods are absolutely amazing. The pad Thai was a little bit salty and didn’t have the tangy pad Thai flavour which were used to. But the flavour combinations of the Bao and the Yellow Curry were excellent. The yellow curry did come out on the colder side — which was more of a test to the service which was somewhat poor. When we arrived we were greeted and sat with no menus/plates etc for 5 minutes — we had a reservation as well but it felt like they weren’t expecting us. Our initial dish came out pretty slow, whereas the rest of them came at a good speed (other than the yellow curry being cold). People who arrived after us had gotten their mains before us. All the ladies were so kind and accommodating so I don’t think it’s their fault, I think the restaurant itself just needs better organization...
