Appalling service yesterday afternoon 14h06 25.10.2024, I asked several shop assistants if an item existed in another colour and none of them had their scanner on them to check this, one even walked away from me when I asked my question, worse still at the cashier desk, I felt ignored while I was attended to with the shop assistants talking amongst themselves( a blond woman and a bearded man) , and because of their lack of attention one item was not processed properly and when I left the shop I was called by the guard being accused that I had stolen an item like a criminal, luckily I insisted for the printed receipt despite being told I received it on my phone which was not the case ! Furthermore I was told that it was not possible to request tax free (the shop assistants well understood my English)( I live outside the EU zone ) the next day I went to another Zara store in Tarragona and it was no problem! So I was misinformed and felt that it was like that the shop assistant simply did not want to do it! Upon entering, the atmosphere felt frenzied, with clothes strewn about and racks disheveled. It was challenging to navigate through the aisles, with merchandise haphazardly placed, hindering the shopping experience.
Furthermore, the lack of organization extended to the dressing rooms, where long lines and disarray awaited patrons. The ambiance was far from inviting, making it difficult to enjoy the process of trying on clothes.
Moreover, the staff seemed overwhelmed and understaffed, unable to address the mounting issues within the store. Their demeanor lacked the professionalism one would expect from a brand of Zara's caliber.
Overall, my visit to Zara left much to be desired. While the brand may excel in fashion-forward designs, the chaos and disorganization within the store detract from the overall shopping experience. Zara must address these issues to uphold its reputation and ensure customer satisfaction...

I’ve shopped at this Zara at least 20 times since we moved here in August. I’ve always had a great experience with sales associates being incredibly helpful in finding sizes, purchases, returns and try on.
However, today a male sales associate was incredibly rude to me. I spoke in Spanish, although it’s not perfect I tried & he was flippant, dismissive, unhelpful and then when asked if he needed my card for the return he said derogatory remark to say the transaction was done. Another female sales associate laughed as he said it.
While I understand it can be annoying to move slowing with new Spanish speakers and/or English speakers— this behavior was beyond rude and unnecessary.
What he didn’t know is that I could fully understand what he said about me...
