⚠️ Bad copy of the original Japanese all you can eat - Fuji (there are 3 locations in València).
🇯🇵 Kyoto is NOT the best all you can eat Japanese in València! Heck, I would argue it's not even Japanese! There is one Japanese in the kitchen (whereas at competing restaurant everyone is Japanese in the kitchen).
The prices are the same but the quality is lacking.
🍣 Food: The rice is cheap (falls apart when inserted in sauce) and the wasabi is a (bad) joke - single serving portions (like at fast food, no taste at all..) - this results in all sushi being of poor quality.
🐟 Salmon in the Maki was not good quality and was not cleaned of fiber.
🥩 The beef entrecote was very chewy, probably old meat. This was the best dish at the competitors...
🦆 The Duck (Pato) was very good and tasty, that's the only reason we gave it a 2/5.
💡 We were so happy that we didn't order the all you can eat - seems like a tourist trap compared to the other restaurants in València.
👔 Service: The waiter looked scary, like an ex convict with those who tattoos and aggressive approach. Nobody in the staff smiled. The other waiter quickly dropped the plates on the table and left, like a rude robot. In other restaurants they mention what they bring (with a smile).
⛔ Conclusion: we don't understand the 4.6 average rating - people most likely haven't been to the proper Japanese restaurants... We will never...
Read moreWe decided on Japanese food because we were staying at the hotel across from the restaurant. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we didn't have a reservation but soon got a table. The staff doesn't speak any other language, making communication difficult, but we managed to order what we wanted by showing pictures from the menu. The food was delayed, with some dishes taking a very long time. Of all the food we ordered, only two dishes were tasty. We usually eat at Japanese restaurants and are quite familiar with Japanese cuisine and offerings, but this was one of our poorer experiences in terms of food and service, and I wouldn't recommend...
Read moreDo not let the non fancy interior fool you. Probably the best value sushi buffet you will find and everything tasted fresh. You can see the chefs preparing the food from the open kitchen. I went for the lunch buffet for about £14 you can order of the menu whatever you want, as much as you want (a couple of dishes limited to 1 or 2 servings). I went for menu A as there was plenty of choice, a slightly more expensive menu B then menu C also available that gives even more choice. Regardless of what you go for, you won't be disappointed. Perfect for a social lunch or a solo visit....
