I had the pleasure of dining at Restaurante Tenedor y Cuchillo and it was a truly memorable experience.

This was my first ever paella in Spain after trying a few in the UK, and the difference was night and day. The flavours were authentic, rich, and cooked to perfection – you can taste the freshness and care in every bite. The seafood was perfectly balanced with the rice, and it honestly set a new standard for me.

The mojito I ordered was just as impressive – refreshing, balanced, and probably one of the best I’ve had anywhere. It paired perfectly with the meal and added to the experience.

The ambience here is warm and stylish, with modern décor, cozy lighting, and comfortable seating that makes you instantly relax. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was just right.

What really stood out, beyond the food and drinks, was the atmosphere. By the end of the evening, I had made new friends from both the UK and the US – it’s the kind of place that naturally brings people together.

We love this place. We moved here about 3 and 1/2 months ago. We've tried every restaurant within 2 miles of our home right across Tvia park. We're a retired couple. We go out to eat about 7 or 8 times a week. We love this restaurant so much that we eat here about 4 or 5 times a week. They have three or four chefs all the time and about three or four waiters. (My wife is very picky about cleanliness in this place is about the cleanest restaurant around. Now, to most important stuff the food is on top quality ingredients, the chefs are all fantastic, Everybody that works here is very nice. We've been here at the restaurant anytime when they bought the fresh seafood in. It's super fresh, and everything is very reasonable Paella is unbeatable, the 😍 Entrecot (steak) comes with potatoes or french fries. They serve it with a nice cooking stone so you cook it It melts in your mouth can you cook each piece until it's perfect based on your own personal desires. The Calamari is probably the best you've ever tasted. Even that burger is to die for, but I was asked for and that burger rocks. The drinks are very good quality. They grow the mint right on the premises. There's no way you can go wrong eating you....

Avoid like the plague.

Upon entering, we were told that we could pay using contactless. After an average meal, we go to pay. They tell us the card machine is no longer working. We offer many options and solutions.

Such as Bank Transfer and an ATM withdrawal, but they were not working. Another option we offered was to fix their card machine, they did not allow it. One of the staff escorted me to an ATM that was not functional, and threatened to hold us in the restaurant while they called the police.

During the excursion, my partner finally convinced them to let her fix the card machine, finally allowing us to pay.

We would not have eaten at the restaurant if we couldn't pay by contactless, but we were told upon entering that we could.
