We came to eat for dinner for st valentine's day. The atmosphere was nice, but the room was far too cold. We chose the st valentine's menu which was 22.50 euros. With that was supposed to come two glasses of Cava Champagne. The glasses were only exactly half full, I have never seen something like that, not even in London!! We ordered two teas which arrived 30 minutes late (reminding the waiter 3 times), without which was impossible to warm up. The teas were Poleo-menta, but we only had poleo in them. THE RESTAURANT WAS ALMOST EMPTY BECAUSE WE CAME TO EAT AT 19:30 which in Spain in very early. They didn't know what the menu was about and had to go check on the poster outside the restaurant. The main was STONE COLD. Scampi were frozen and seemed cooked long time ago and so was the grilled salmon, which was COMPLETELY RAW inside. We asked for explanation to the waiter and he was extremely ashamed, having to deal with the chef's mistakes. When we asked for the bill they had only taken away two teas of 1.95 euros each and when we said we wouldn't want to pay that price for cold and raw food, they said the main was worth those money and could not do any further discount. THIS IS EXTREMELY UNFAIR, ONLY TRYING TO GET AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE. THEY NOT ONLY SHOWED LACK OF RESPECT WITH DRINKS AND FOOD BUT WITH THE BILL TOO. I don't like leaving bad reviews and this is my first time, but I have never experienced such rudeness. Apparently cold food was normal in that restaurant, so I would avoid it completely. If I could give 0 stars I would. I really hope they will take customers more seriously...

Really disappointing experience. The food, the service, the ambience are terrible. This restaurant is in a popular position so it’s very busy but in reality they can only handle a few people. They have everyone stuffed in like anchovies. We waited for over 2 hours for all of our meals to be served. Long waits. Service: The waiters are friendly but very stressed because of the dire situation of the restaurant. They are apologizing for the lateness of the meals but there is no one around to attend to you. We were a party of 6. 2 meals came after 1 hour and 20 mins. The next two meals came after 1 hour and 50 mins. The final 2 meals came 2 hours later only after we reminded them. This is the worst service so far in Spain. I’ve been to Barcelona, Menorca, and Tarragona. Food: For the hefty price tag, the food is over seasoned. We ordered the pesto pasta - this was very bland. We ordered the seafood fideau - this was salty and not worth the wait. We ordered bolenase pasta and it was also very salty and bland. We ordered sangria and it was over sweetened and watered down. Cleanliness: I usually don’t post about the cleanliness of restaurants but this has to be said. The cutlery was dirty at our table and we had to request a new set. The male toilet is disgusting and stinks of urine. The female toilet is also dirty. The bottom bar is filled with dirty dishes and plates because they're too busy to clear the clutter. DO NOT BOTHER...

Foreigners please read Beware! This restaurant is a total tourist trap and ridiculously overpriced. Save yourself the trouble and head to the nearby tapas gastro joint instead, where you'll get the same experience for half the cost. The so-called "aqua de Valencia" they serve here is nothing more than cheap juice from Aldi.

I strongly advise against visiting this place, as they deceive unsuspecting tourists. They conveniently fail to inform you about their reasonably priced menu of the day, priced at just 20 euros. Instead, they make you choose from the regular menu, leaving you unaware of the more affordable option. Consequently, my companions and I ended up paying a whopping 71 euros for what should have been a budget-friendly meal!

To add insult to injury, the waiter had the audacity to argue that we never requested the menu in Spanish. It's clear they're more interested in taking advantage of unsuspecting tourists than providing a fair and honest dining experience.

It's my sincere hope that by sharing my dreadful experience, I can prevent other travelers from falling victim to this super big tourist scam. Run run run! There is a reason they grab tourist off...

Good food for even better price. Although the waiters outside can be a bit annoying, staff is really friendly and offer well-priced menu (5 dishes to 7 dishes). Understanding of gluten free. Red wine of the house is nice (and only 13€), and would also really recommend the patatas bravas here. Don't know if the portion will differ when ordered separately (as not-menu price then is €8,5,....), But in the menu they were great! For €8,50 don't know if I still would recommend it as that would be way to expensive for this portion size. I'd really recommend takin the bar libre, the open bar, for only 6 euros. You can pick almost any drink you like during the 5-7 dishes menu, which is a not-understandable great deal! We really liked the staff here who serves the food and the location is great as well. Please don't hesitate and have a lunch / dinner here!

1,30 hour waiting before getting our food!! We ordered salmon with Thai vegetables (supposed to be fast) and we got a bit of salmon with mashed potatoe without any taste. This restaurant is really a low level food, low level service, and a mess. The team in the kitchen was so disorganised that the plates were prepared by the servers, this is not acceptable in terms of hygiene and quality of the plates! There are so many good restaurants in Valencia, this one is a touristic place that impacts Valencia reputation. And Fallas can’t be an excuse, others are totally able to manage traffic while ensuring high level service and food. I don’t like blaming, you can check my profile is real and I very rarely put bad reviews - but I don’t like being scammed.
