The Jungle — Restaurant in Valencia

My husband found this bar on google and we went there for my birthday drinks. We loved everything: the atmosphere is very particular, the place is cool and cozy, the service was warm and friendly and obviously the drinks were top! Being my husband a Bar Manager and being in the industry 15years we both know what kind of drinks we like, but we have decided to ask for an advice and the bartender/owner/Daniel did not disappointed us. He gave us quite few good options to choose from based on the flavours we like. We had the FIREFLY and NORDELICIOUS! Both drinks were great, particularly well balanced with a spotless presentation. They were so good that we asked for a second round of the Firefly which we considered an amazing drink! As snacks we ordered some sort of cheese sticks made in Venezuelan style. Loved those too! A very nice place with really spectacular decor and great service. They also have some outdoor tables, but we took a seat inside. The cocktail list is creative and the server was really friendly and willing to help us choose, even in English. Finally, we tasted the Firefly, Marabunta, Wild Tiger and Delicate Butterfly cocktails, of which the Firefly was our personal favorite. The snack we received with the cocktails is also tasty and a very considerate gesture, we really liked that. The only thing I missed is that only a few types of fresh fruits are used in making the cocktails, because most of them are only used as syrups for flavoring. Live nearby now. Visited with friends in town. Cool vibe, low light but not too low, very relaxed. Food was good too. Cocktails, we are learning, are not easy to find in Valencia. Ordering like an American gets you funny looks at most bars, they had nice choices for a change of pace and great well-presented drinks. I always lead with a martini and have gotten 3 things now in valencia that are not even close to a martini (one with ice in a whiskey glass), these guys got pretty close to prefect that night.... stock some blue cheese stuffed olives and i will be forever grateful.
