B&B Hi València Cánovas — Hotel in Valencia

My wife and I stayed at B&B Valencia for only one night, but we were amazed at the level of personal service we received. We were there from August 4th to 5th and the same staff member was working the entire time (wish we could remember her name!). She was so helpful throughout our stay and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable experience. She held our bags, provided us with information about the area, upgraded our room to a private bath, and even allowed us an area to shower and change before we headed to the airport even after our checkout.

The room was larger than many we had stayed in during our trip to Spain with plenty of room for us to spread out and settle in. The beds were comfortable and we had no issues sleeping after a long day in the city. The location was great as well. Just a few minutes walk to the metro, gothic quarter, and Turia Park made it easy to hit all of the attractions we were looking to take in.

It was a fantastic stay to end two weeks of traveling across Spain. We will definitely stay again on our next trip...

Muy caraduras. Reservé con ellos a través de Expedia (página web en la que ellos confían para hacer las reservas, luego responsabilidad del hotel por delegar en ellos), y la habitación que cogí no coincidía con la foto que ponían (era cama doble, y me dieron una con litera). Mi chica y yo tuvimos que dormir en otro sitio. Hablamos por teléfono no más llegar con el hotel y nos pidieron disculpas, todo muy amable y correcto en principio, nos quisieron dar otra habitación pero no había más disponibles, asi que abandonamos el hotel. Nos dijeron que hablásemos con Expedia para el reembolso. Tras hablar con ellos resulta que Expedia les envió un correo al hotel y el hotel, que en principio fueron tan majos, CANCELAN el reembolso con lo cual Expedia no nos reembolsa nada. Tras insistir Expedia vuelve a escribirles y resulta que ellos cancelan la reserva (el día después) y entonces Expedia ya no puede hacer nada, la pelota queda en el tejado del Hotel. Tras este mareo y vacile llamo al hotel Hi Valencia de nuevo y resulta que, aunque la voz y acento de la chica es exactamente el mismo, ella dice ser otra persona que se incorporó hoy mismo (qué casualidad!). Esto tras ignorar mis whatsapps y mis 4 llamadas anteriores. Ya el tono en el que empieza la conversación no es amable (para ser nueva la chica, qué raro, no? 😉). Ya dice que no hay reembolso posible, que como si Expedia pone una foto de la fachada del hotel que es indiferente porque la fachada no se alquila (además con vacile) y ya todo muy borde. Haciéndose la loca de "me es indiferente si se ocupó la habitación o no" (ya sabía que no se había ocupado). Osea, te marean, se escurren el bulto entre ellos y Expedia, luego te vacilan y se hacen los locos y te quieren tomar por tonto. Una estafa, engaño y falta de deontología en toda regla. NO RECOMENDABLE.

Respuesta a ese comentario que me dejan: Antes de ofertar una habitación vean bien las fotos que dejan. Si dejan una cama doble como foto y luego dan dos camas individuales (para 2 personas, no 1) en litera entonces están engañando. Si además se comportan de una forma vacilona, engañosa, maleante, deshonesta y sin deontología de negocio serio pues también hablan de qué clase de gente son y cómo manejan ustedes una empresa. We read various reviews of this place, and were a little nervous when we got there. We found that the check-in process that they had emailed us went fairly smoothly if little laboriously. Apparently they only have a desk attendant for three hours a day, after that they give you codes and you enter all of your passport information into a machine that kicks out a key to your room.|The room was fine, the location was very good, the only negative was that our bathroom, although private, was down the hall accessible with our room key.
