Zero! We had a reservation, but when we arrived one of the waiters told us, “there are other Italian restaurants over there.” We found this extremely rude and dismissive, especially since we had booked in advance and were expecting a welcoming experience. We were seated on the terraza, but it was uncomfortably cold. We politely asked if we could move slightly inside (still within the terraza area), where there were no other guests at the time, just so we could enjoy our meal without freezing. This simple request was not handled with much understanding. Additionally, we informed the staff that we would be sharing the plates. Instead of accommodating us, they began taking plates away, insisting everything would not fit on the table. In the end, all the dishes did fit perfectly, which only added to our frustration. Overall, the service felt unwelcoming and dismissive, which was very disappointing given that we had chosen this restaurant and made a reservation.

While visiting Vigo for work from the U.S, this spot was recommended to us for Italian cuisine. We went to the Bouzas location. My husband and I thought the atmosphere had great character and charm. The staff was very friendly and our server, Ana was hospitable and walked us through any questions we had with the menu. She had great English to compliment our broken Spanish :). We enjoyed the warm bread service, followed by a mushroom barrata salad that was fantastic. I ordered the mushroom pasta dish since I am pescatarian (photo). My husband had the bolognese. Both were wonderful.

We had an amazing meal at this very authentic Italian restaurant. There were 4 of us. 3 had pizzas’s & I had pasta with pumpkin & burnt butter sauce. Everything was fabulous! We finished with the creamiest ice creams in unusual flavors; I had white chocolate & our friends chose Lavender & a fruit sorbet. Even the espresso was perfect. But best of all was a very friendly, English speaking waitress who was delightful.

Además no sabían nada a trufa.

We had a reservation here for a friend’s birthday, but the experience was shockingly disappointing. When we asked if we could sit at a different table in the patio (because it was chilly and we were wearing sleeveless clothes), the staff refused and instead sent us to a more open, colder area. When we asked again, one of the waiters even said, “there are other Italian restaurants.” That response was rude, unprofessional, and made us feel unwelcome — possibly even discriminated against, since we are mostly Asian.

When we placed our order, we asked for all dishes to be shared (as we always do). The staff complained that the food wouldn’t fit on the table and acted irritated when we insisted it would. In the end, all the dishes fit perfectly fine. It felt as though they were making a problem out of nothing, instead of simply accommodating a normal request.

To be fair, the food was very good. But no matter how good the food is, service is always number one — and the service here was dismissive, unkind, and unwelcoming. If I could give zero...
