This USED to be a fantastic place. We go to lanzarote around five times a year as we own a boat in the marina, we spend several evenings in the bars each week and have done for five years in a row now. However, this year cafe terrazza is unrecognisable from the experience we have been used to. New members of staff are rude. The night before last we got told they were closing early at 10.30 due to the wind, ITS A WINDY ISLAND?! And tonight we were told that the staff wanted to go home at 10.30 so we couldn’t have a drink. If you close at 10.30, that’s fine, just update the opening hours. The people who actually own this bar are lovely, polite and helpful. This new member of staff (women with long brown hair, maybe British) is just so unbelievably rude! I don’t think we use this cafe again. Such a shame. You lost the custom of 10 people tonight and I am sure you will lose more if attitudes remain...
Read moreJust returned home after 11 nights at Playa Blanca. Visited Cafe Terraza most nights after our evening meal for cake and drinks. Our daughter loves cats and there was a resident cat, Casper who looks exactly like our cat at home. Owner gave us treats to feed Casper and told us about the work they do for the local wild cats in the area. Drinks were reasonably priced and their cakes are gorgeous (shout out for Cherry Bakewell) and the music gave the cafe a relaxed, chilled out atmosphere.
