From the moment I stepped into the charming eatery, I was captivated by the inviting and serene ambience. The place exudes calm and cleanliness, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed dining experience. As a lover of culinary delights, I was thrilled to discover that the food here is delicious and offers excellent value for money. A standout dish that deserves a special mention is their Rose Pasta. An exquisite blend of flavours that tantalise the taste buds, this dish is a must-try for anyone visiting. Each bite was a delightful journey through a symphony of tastes, leaving me yearning for more. Service at this restaurant is commendably friendly, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The staff are attentive and hospitable, ensuring every diner feels welcomed and valued. While the restaurant may not accommodate large parties, it's perfectly suited for celebrations with up to 20 people. The intimate setting fosters a sense of togetherness, making it a great choice for smaller gatherings. An additional gem is the top floor seating, offering a breathtaking ocean view. Feeling the gentle sea breeze while enjoying your meal adds a magical touch to the dining experience. In summary, this restaurant is a hidden gem that promises an enchanting culinary adventure. Whether it's for a casual meal or a special occasion, it's a place that leaves a lasting impression with its exceptional food, welcoming service, and mesmerising views.

It looked like an outlet when we arrived at this place. But they have 2 floors of seating, private event rooms and even a pool table. The place looked colorful and nice. I preferred the 2nd floor overlooking the sea, a nice place to watch Sunset. We ordered 2 Filtered Coffee, 1 Coconut Crescent Cake and Fish and Chips. Coffee is average or more like it tasted like a Nescafe rather than the actual filtered coffee we make at home. I felt like the fish in the Fish and Chips could have cooked well. The Coconut Crescent cake we had is really nice. It's a must try item. Based on the reviews it looked like many people have tried roast paan so I think it's a must try item. Had a bad experience with their service. I don't know if it's because it has become crowded after we went. I had to go down all the way from the 2nd floor to get my Filtered Coffee and the Coconut Crescent Cake. The shop should improve on the service other than I will recommend this place for a nice experience. Will update the rating in future after my next visit.

A must try for all Colombo peeps. A cozy small dining place in the marine drive. Yummy yet affordable place to hangout with friends. I saw people coming after work for a bite. The quantity and quality of the food was so good. A variety of seating arrangements. Tried the pulled chicken paanwich and cardamom tea. Will definitely be visiting again to try more. Visited again for the second time. Sat in the sea salt room with sea view and sea breeze. Tried Hazelnut filter coffee and caramel iced coffee. Flavour was appreciable. The quality and quantity was good. I recommend trying the hazelnut filter coffee. Visited for the third time. This time for lunch. That's how much I recommend this place. Ordered kaapi special chicken fried rice, boneless chilli chicken side and creamy chicken pasta along with three drink items. The food was so delicious and superb quality. I wish the pasta quantity was a little more. The washroom situation is ideal. The topmost floor has the best arrangement. Overall I highly recommend this place.

Recently, my friend and I had the pleasure of visiting Kaapi Colombo, a 3-story building boasting a pool play area, family dining, and a private dining section. The place was truly impressive, with a beautiful interior that instantly set the mood for a memorable dining experience.

The menu was extensive, offering a wide variety of delectable food and beverage options. Our choices were fish and chips, chicken and chips, and filter coffee. The wait for our order was around 10 - 20 minutes, but it was well worth it. The dishes were simply mouth-watering and delicious.

The staff was friendly, always ready to lend a helping hand whenever needed. The food was worth every penny. The service was impeccable, and the ambience was relaxed and clean.

While the space might be limited for large parties, it's perfect for gatherings of around 10 to 20 people. Moreover, the top floor offers a scenic view of the sea, allowing you to enjoy the refreshing ocean breeze.

The restaurant's vibrant and attractive interior design, along with good service and generous portion sizes, further add to its appeal. Despite the absence of a designated parking area, Kaapi Colombo remains a great place to enjoy a delicious meal while admiring the sea view. Plus, they have a pool table for groups of up to six people, making it an all-around...

Parking is not an issue as there's plenty of space at the side of Marine Drive.

The interior was welcoming and cosy. Staff was very friendly and their recommendations were spot on. They really do cater to your needs. Unlike some places where the chefs are as frigid as the deep freezers they use, here they listen to what your preferences are and were more than happy to make the subtle changes that I requested of my meal. Super stuff!!

The food itself was great. The roast paan was crispy and buttery on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. Their pol sambol and curries were delectable and quite satisfying.

One thing that was a miss for me (and it's really quite a subjective one) was that the usual array of soft drinks were not available. There were mojitos, tea and coffee and other beverages but I prefer a carbonated cola to complement a spicy, delicious meal. It's so important to me so much so that the unavailability of such beverages will deter me from dining there again I guess.

Anyway that's a personal preference and probably completely my fault but hey, the food's great and if you're not nitpicky about beverages then this is a wonderful...
