A quaint steak restaurant in Havelock Mall. Weβve come twice to this place and love the food and the service. The owners were very friendly and served well when they were there.
Service and timing were SUPERB. From all of our experiences eating out in Sri Lanka, this place SERVES FAST yet with GOOD QUALITY of food.
May be lacking in terms of menu (coffees and teas werenβt available both times) and lack in staff knowledge of doneness level for steak, but overall SATISFYING and GOOD FOOD with value for money.
We had Topside beef steak (cooked medium rare): Juicy and tender steak with nice condiments and sauces. Portion and plating were done well. 3300LKR Falafel: not too dry, cooked well. Sauce put on top was too spicy. Better to serve on the side. Especially for customers who canβt take spicy food. Grilled chicken breast: very juicy and tender chicken, cooked well and seasoned perfectly. Need to have more variety for the sauce. But overall was amazing, value for money. 1850LKR Tukman rice with beef kofta balls: tender beef balls, a bit dry but well seasoned. The star of this meal was THE RICE. It was soo creamy and fragrant. Simple yet stunning dish. 1500LKR.
Will definitely come back for the platters.

π₯ Ossobuco Steak (braai) - The most wow.
π₯ Hummus with Khubz - Yes, good.
π₯ Beef Topside Steak (braai) - Tasty.
π₯ Mashed Potato - Just Yum.

Definitely, I choose the Ossobuco Steak (braai). Very delicious, I must say. A must try.
Waiting to taste more. And waiting to visit them again.

No parking closeby. But "Colombo Steak House" is at Havelock Mall (not inside the mall, but right down to your right from the entrance).
A very small place but nice place to visit. Atmosphere was nice. Very clean.
Fresh fruit juices available, local and imported "Steaks" available, a few desserts - available, a few starters - available, and what not??? Priced not so expensive but quality food + lovely presentation of food (Steak etc.)
Add ons like the mashed potato was yum and there's some more add ons available on the menu.
