I was really disappointed with the service at this outlet. The first time I visited the Thalapakatti outlet at Havelock City Mall was last year (I don't remember the date. Should be October 2024). I only ordered a biriyani and two Sprites, but they also added an ice cream to my bill. When I told them I didn’t order ice cream and asked them to remove it, it took a long time for them to return the money. I didn’t want the ice cream, but they kept insisting that I should buy it because they had already entered it in the system. It wasn’t my fault. It was clearly their mistake, but they still wanted me to pay for it.
I met the same team again during my visit this year (Yesterday), and unfortunately, they repeated the same mistake. When I entered Thalapakatti, they were playing loud music. I ordered noodles, but they mistakenly entered and charged me for a biriyani. I paid by card, and Rs. 2,177.00 was deducted for the biriyani.
Before entering the order, the cashier confirmed with me, asking, “You want noodles?” I clearly said yes. But he still entered biriyani into the system. When I questioned him, he asked, “Didn’t you order biriyani?” I said no, I ordered noodles.
I also told him to lower the music volume because it was hard for him to hear what I was saying. He ignored my request and didn’t show any concern for the customer.
Later, they said they could correct the order but mentioned that a 10% service charge would still be added to the bill. I want to point out that this is not a proper service. It’s self-service. We have to collect the food ourselves. So I don’t understand why they are charging a service fee when no service is actually provided.
I ordered a chicken noodle and paid for it, but I was served an egg noodle instead. I informed them that I had ordered chicken noodle, not egg noodle. A girl responded by saying, “You can see the chicken inside the noodles,” and then walked away to chat with other staff members. She showed no concern at all. There was no chicken at all.
Even the staff don’t care about customers. I was left standing there, waiting to speak to another staff member so I could explain the issue again. This kind of service is completely unacceptable.
I then called another staff member and showed him both the bill and the plate. He took it back and brought me the correct chicken noodle. However, I clearly noticed that the portion of noodles had been reduced. They didn’t even apologize for the mistake.
The service is very poor. The staff are careless, and they don’t respect or value customers. On top of that, the food is also not good what they provided me. Also, they had been reduced the portion. We are paying, but we don’t get food or service that’s worth the money.

For Atmosphere (8/10) 🔸 It's a food Court, so no AC it's normal environment in Havelock City Mall. Chairs are comfortable and place was not too crowded.

The food, when it finally arrived, was not only served in small portions but was also lukewarm and tasteless. It was an awful culinary experience, leaving me feeling nauseous and regretful.
The only positive aspect was the adoption of a new digital tag system for food notifications, which made it easier to track orders.
Moreover, I was taken aback by the additional ten percent service charge added to the bill, further souring my overall impression.
To add to the frustration, the place was incredibly crowded, making it impossible to find a suitable seating arrangement.
I'm deeply unsatisfied with my experience and have no intention of returning. 😞🤢🍽️
