Wonderful club, great facilities, food, staff. However standards have gone down. the standard of members is a worry as you see all sorts of people at the club. Membership should be more strict and selective. If this continues this club will end up like Otters or even worse. The Committee consists of some professionals and dedicated individuals. The only weakness is the Secretary who is clueless and not fit to hold this position. The GM is a rude and arrogant individual. he is disliked by most of the employees and most members too. It is about time he was replaced with a capable and professionally...

Had a birthday party today and enjoyed a lot. Our Cricket Legend Mahela Jayawardene is the Chairman of SSC. Thanks for him and now the Club is well maintained and clean. The birthday was in the 1st floor today and should give credits to the 2 gents who were serving food and cleaning the tables as they were working really hard. Anyway had a lovely dinner and also the side dishes ( french fries, pork, mutton and cuttle fish ) were delicious, thanks for the Chef for making lovely food.
