This hotel is in a lovely area, quiet and not too far from the attractions of Colombo. We stayed here for 2 nights. Nafeel greeted us and he was super helpful. He even assisted us with our bags when we checked out, great asset to the business.

The rooms are basic but have everything you need. They rooms were clean and comfort. The reception area is very cute.

The coffee shop in the reception area called Island Yaka made super great coffee.

Suggestions: on our first morning we were not given a choice of food for breakfast and sadly a lot of the food we were given went to waste. We sorted this for our second morning by ordering the food we liked.

Maybe change the comment on the internet which states you are not affected by the power cuts. We totally understand the current situation here in Sri Lanka but when we asked about this feature we were told, yes we have a generator but no diesel to use it. This was not a problem but it was a little bit misleading.

Overall a good hotel for backpackers and people...

I had a very bad experience staying at this Hotel. From the moment we arrived, things started off on the wrong foot. The air conditioning in our room was broken on the first day, and when we informed the staff, they were unhelpful and uninterested in resolving the issue. It seemed like they lacked the knowledge and experience to properly handle basic guest needs.

The hotel also failed to maintain a clean and organized environment. When we returned to the hotel in the evening, we found cutlery scattered all over the place, which gave a poor impression of their housekeeping standards. Furthermore, when we asked for simple things like water, the staff seemed indifferent and unaccommodating.

Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. The hotel does not live up to its price or promises. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and...

Stayed here for a night with my boyfriend before travelling within Sri Lanka. The double room (#4) is clean and spotless. My accolade for Best Shower goes to Fern - strong water pressure, very clean bathroom and all the basic necessities were provided. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. But the pillows are horrible - too soft! Though we only stayed here for one night, we were busy catching and killing mosquitoes! I found two mosquitoes on the area where my back was resting on and I must killed them but sleeping on them. The mosquito situation is terrible and they don’t provide you with a net, repellent or a coil. So bring your own, and come over-prepared! We did but we still got bitten! Staff are friendly and helpful. Check out Butter Boutique, a cake cafe just 50m away. Said to be the best in Colombo and I...

Definitely the nicest place we stayed at during our trip to Sri Lanka. The hotel is very well designed with a lot of plants and natural light. Our room was excellent: very clean, spacious and had the best shower ever. We felt so comfortable there that we will go back there again as soon as we can. Furthermore, the location is great. It is a very nice area which is not too far away from the city center. You have three cafes right around the corner. We can recommend black cat and the tacos at tacocat!
