Bommen Restaurang & Bar — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

What makes a restaurant a good restaurant is not the food but the hospitality of the staff. This place will disappoint you if you are an international living or visiting the city. A polite way to handle the customer is to say: Sorry we are fully booked today we won't be able to offer you a table, maybe you can have a look at the bar we can serve you better there.

But in reality, what happened to me, I enter this place there is no one to ask no one at the bar or anyone I can ask. I proceed to take a seat at the empty table..in hopes of getting a menu.

The waitress comes and asks me if I have booked, I said no,in reply i get: you cannot sit here, sit at the bar..however I can see one non-bookable table which she could have offered me. I have never tried the food here but it looks well mad and fancy. The beer selections is good and the the people working there are very friendly, giving the place a good atmosphere with an opera theme. Would recommend a visit when nearby! Usually very calm so it's the best spot to meet...
