Candela Coffee — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

IM giving them a 2 stars EVEN is I loved this place. Just because they gave me headaches!

I asked for a raspberry cheesecake cake, they gave me a strawberry one, I said something and they changed it, the cake was not good tho.

I asked for a normal coffee and I stod still for 3-5 min because they were talking about private matters so I started looking around if I myself was supposed to take the black coffee. I asked and I wasn’t, I got the black coffee after a long time.

The ice cream was the best, not the chocolate one but the lemon one was just perfect!

My coffee didn’t have any taste for a mocha. Even tho I said matcha hahaha.

Toilet was not the best, a bit dirty but happy they had 3 at least.

I will go again and see if it’s better...

The atmosphere, food, pastries, and beverages are all excellently presented and delicious. However, the service could use improvement. There are consistently slow-moving queues, and the staff lacks a service-minded attitude. For instance, when I requested to have my two scoops of gelato split into separate bowls, I was refused because "it's not possible to separate". (Wasn't the only thing I ordered from the menu..) Additionally, another guest in line was told to simplify their order because the server couldn't remember all the modifications. Sheeesh. What a lovely place! It is one of my favourites cafés in town now 😊 I was very surprised about how cosy this café is especially because of its location. I was impressed with the small details in the plates, for example, which makes the experience even more plesant! The service was also nice and friendly!
