BrewDog Göteborg — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

Went for their unlimited wings Wednesday with friends. 2 of my friends had the chicken, me and another friend had Cauliflower wings. The first sampler tasting round had too big portions of 3 flavours, would be better to have smaller portions since if nobody likes one of the tastes, you waste less food.

Then when we picked a flavour we liked, we would have to wait for a long time to get more wings and when they arrived it would be 4 Cauliflower wings for the two of us. I thought it was a joke, since our chicken eating friends got a mountain of chicken with like 20-30 pieces, which is what you'd expect. So I told them, eeh we need way more than 4 Cauliflower wings since we are 2 adults. Then we'd wait another long time and get another 4 pieces only.

I think brewdog is good if you're going to have drinks but if you want food and the non meat one, I wouldn't recommend it. Very bad also that it cost so much (249 kr per person) and chicken and Cauliflower cost the same and then we got way way way less food.

We came for Wings Wednesday and really enjoyed it. 3 different flavours with meat and vegan options, so everyone can be involved ☺️ place was really busy, so naturally food took a bit longer than we'd like, but we couldn't fault the wings or anything. Really tasty and plenty of them. We also did the rock, paper, scissors offer with the server, but sadly lost 😆 dessert was chocolatey and good! Sadly service let down our experience at the end, as nobody asked us if we wanted drinks, or to pay etc. so we were left for quite a while before we got up and paid at the bar. Kind of mixed signals as to whether we were getting table service or not, as we saw others approach the bar for drinks and to pay too. Nice atmosphere and music with a good vibe, staff was super nice and cool, the burger that I tried (double patriot) was tasty and you got a lot of meat. The only downside is that the price for the burger was a bit on the high side, even though it was tasty the portion size overall was on the smaller side and left more to be desired. As for the fries, they were crispy but not enough seasoned.

As I didn't try anything special in the beer department I can just say that the beer tasted just as good as any other bar in gothenburg albeit also on the more pricy side.

Overall, if you got some money to spend this is a fine bar that will probably not leave you disappointed, with the upside of having some tasty burgers...
