Restaurant Santé — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

The restorant staff member saw us (mom and dad and toddler) tasting the meal for our toddler and he came to us fighting saying why are three people eating the meal in front of everyone! I told him we were tasting the food coz it could be spicy for a toddler, and we paid for one meal and he has nothing to do with who eats it! One person or two! They had the worst manners ever! I was even discharged from hospital that day and could not even eat! Only the father and toddler were eating the food we paid for! I will not go there ever again! People stopped going to Turkey for these bad manners, I can't believe they brought these...

Good food that you either can eat there or take with you. The place is located on the upper floor and during the lunch hours there is a lot of people which can seem stressy.

The prices are reasonable and they offer you salad to put in a plastic box when you take the food with you. However it seems that the portion size has been reduced, hence the 4 points.

Mitt senaste besök på Santẽ i Nordstan var tyvärr en besvikelse. Jag beställde Adana och en kycklingspetträtt, men båda rätterna var så pass oljiga att det tog över hela smakupplevelsen. Särskilt potatisen kändes överdrivet flottig och tung, vilket drog ner helhetsintrycket rejält.

När jag bad om en matlåda för att ta med det jag inte orkade äta fick jag veta att det kostade extra, något som kändes snålt med tanke på matens kvalitet och prisnivå. Vi betalade 360 kronor och då kan man tycka att det är rätt snålt att inte få med en låda om man ej lyckats äta upp allt.

Salladsbuffén var i alla fall något bättre, fräschare och mer balanserad än varmrätterna. Däremot bidrog restaurangens miljö inte till en trevlig upplevelse: högljutt (mest från köket självt), och framförallt obekväma sittplatser. Det var svårt att koppla av eller njuta av måltiden.

Det är synd att säga, men Santẽ har tappat mycket av det som tidigare gjorde stället attraktivt. För några år sedan höll de en klart högre standard. Idag känns det som att maten, atmosfären och servicen...
