VINCENT provided exceptional service to our group of 9 travelers. He translated the menu that offered a cross section of local favorites. Several of us selected fiah and chips with vattered deep fried white fish and crispy-outside-tender-inside french fries (crisps) kissed with a bit spice. Tiny shrimp graced the white fish accompanied by a white sauce. The steak sandwich offered thin sliced sirloin with microgreens and horseradish sauce in between two slices of housemade bread and a deep fried dill pickle. The Ceasar salad in a rich dressing came with fried chicken pieces. VINCENT suggested a rhubarb cocktail, quite smooth and delicious, and others enjoyed the red wine and white wines on tap. How did we pass on the omelet wit herring? Excellent vibe here with distinct seating areas, some areas with accessible tables, some high tops. Full bar with several beers also on tap. Här sitter ett gäng 60+ och enstaka yngre, men musiken är uteslutande riktad till de yngre och för hög. Inredningen ger intryck av bordell i norsk 80-talsfilm. Bakverken är goda men för att vara skapade av Årets konditor ganska fantasilösa. Idag äter jag en semla, den är ok men mandelmassan rostad och salt. Det är en myt att det framhäver smaken på mandelmassan att rosta mandeln och salta mandelmassan. De som gillar sånt har förmodligen ätit för mycket fredagssnacks. Det är också en myt att semlebullar ska vara fluffiga, förmodligen är denna myt spridd av de som vill tjäna mycket pengar eftersom en fluffig semla har ett högre kilopris än en kompakt.
