The Flying Barrel Pub — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

This place is AMAZING! From the service to the food and atmosphere, it is one of the best pubs in Gothenburg. So much my boyfriend and I went back 3 times in the week we spent here. The bartenders were super friendly, the variety of beer was awesome, the food was SO GOOD. The server was so nice (it was only her first week yet she did an amazing job) and the manager (or owner, not sure because he acted as if he owned the place, and I mean that in a very good way. Like he treated everyone that walked in with much care and hospitality) was on point. We love it and I hope so much to come back to Gothenburg in general. Beautiful city and country and when we do come back, for sure we will be back to visit the flying barrel. Will definitely be recommending it to any people looking for places to eat and drink...

I thought I had died and gone to heaven when I discovered this little gem it’s a great place. They do an excellent Disney quiz on a Monday night (best night in town). Massive prizes too, at the quiz.

This is a traditional Irish pub with a good craft beer selection and a basic, but sufficient, food selection. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
