Adria Ristorante & Bar — Restaurant in Stockholm

Rarely does the perfect combination of city location, good ambience, great service, and excellent food come all together for a Restaurant, but Adria is perfection. When you enter you are given a warm greeting by Klara-Fina and she is as warm as the interior which is wonderful with lovely comfortable seating, good sized tables and a lovely ambience with candles sets the tone.

But what really is just marvelous is the menu and the tantalizing taste sensations of the meals. Behind this menu is a brilliant Chef, that has created some of the very best food I have had the pleasure to eat. Traditional Italian utilizing the the freshest products from the markets to bring together the delights I enjoyed. There is little choice for Vegetarians but a pasta and salad. Though plenty for meat and fish eaters with very pleasant combinations. I think though that as everything is made fresh variations would be made to accommodate most tastes.

We started with the sautéed calamari, and a platter of Italian cheeses hams, prosciutto and olives it was all fantastic. My taste buds were having a happy party. Mains we had tagliatelle with mushroom, ravioli and Salmerino all brilliantly cooked. This only got better when it was time for dessert, a homemade tiramisu, a Sgroppino, a citrus sorbet and a lovely Crostata. We had a perfect night at a very good Italian restaurant with marvelous service by Klara-Fina. I highly recommend this restaurant when your in Stockholm.

The restaurant owner, Mikaele (hopefully I spelled correctly, I apologise if I'd spelled wrongly) was very friendly and nice. It was very interesting to hear how his restaurant come about. We really enjoyed the great attitude and welcome feeling. The food was awesome and I finished everything together with their homemade bread. Yup. I miss Italy, Missing their authentic taste of pasta. My friend love her fish and the recommended 🍷wine. Beautiful. The place has great atmosphere and positive vibes. Paintings on the wall well fitted in the interior taste of decorations. Great restaurant. It’s a cute venue, very cosy and comfortable. The waiters were lovely and so helpful. Very approachable and helpful. Always aware, keeping water topped up, clearing plates, on hand to order. Great service. The food was amazing. I had the ragu pasta. It was incredible. The oxtail was tender and flavoursome. My partner had the truffle pasta. The homemade pasta was really good, portion size was slightly small for this dish but the truffle sauce was rich and lovely. The tiramisu was also very good.
