I'm usually the heaviest sleeper of any group, but this hotel is very difficult to get a rest in. It's quite noisy from the cars outside, the roar from the engine of even the tiniest cars penetrate your very core and the doors inside also make a high enough sound that you will instinctively wake up because it sounds like your own door is being opened all the time. The room, especially near the bathroom also smells a bit funky like if there are odors coming from the sink as if the waterlock has failed, I don't know how to describe it better. The accommodation fails on its main purpose which is giving you a rest and giving it any other rating than this for politeness defeats the purpose of a reviewing system. It won't just cost you money, it will also cost you energy as you stay there. I can assure you I'm always quite nuanced when I do these reviews on different websites and give something else higher than 1 star even if the experience isn't the best. This 1 star is saved for rare letdowns like this and a check shows this is the only time I've ever handed out such. It's no criticism of the staff which are nice, but the very room itself.

Before reviewing the hotel, I want to clarify that I was upgraded to a suite upon arrival, which I truly appreciate from the staff. However, I can't really comment on the cheaper room I initially reserved. The hotel is located about 2km from the train station. The area is pretty quiet, next to a church, with a few restaurants and bars nearby. It's situated on top of a hill, so it's pretty quiet. The hotel itself is pretty ugly from the outside, and the rooms could benefit from a fresh paint. I slept very well with no noise, but being next to the games room, I imagine it could get noisy during summer when the hotel is packed. There are plenty of amenities like a gym and conference room. The room was large and bright with a great TV. However, the breakfast was not that great with a limited choice and a super outdated room. I would recommend it for those on a budget and would probably come back myself.

Simply a reliable, fairly priced city hotel for sightseeing trips. Many superficial aspects seem a little dated, but are at least clean and in perfect working order. All the essentials are done well: Sleep quality, shower, breakfast, location. Free access to the neighboring full-service KFUM (~YMCA) gym with sauna is a gift in this price range. Your room key opens the doors there too. The breakfast selection is enormous, including all continental, hot and Nordic favorites. There seems to be more than enough seating to meet peak demand, but queues form at the buffet from around 8:00. A handful of attractive bars and restaurants are available in the direct vicinity. The location felt safe even after dark. All of Stockholm's classic tourist attractions are an easy walk from the hotel, while the nearest subway station is 5 minutes and Central Station is 20 minutes away on foot.

We stayed here for 3 nights and the hotel had everything we needed. The rooms were a good size for 2 people, clean, comfy beds and decor was nice. For us, the location was just perfect - 7/11 literally a 30 second walk down the road (perfect for snacks and drinks) and a coop (a lot bigger with more choice than 7/11) 2 minutes away too. We were about a 15 minute walk from the main train station, 25 minute walk from Gamla Stan and a 5 minute walk from the Metro (so clean!!!). This was great as it gave us the option to walk/metro depending on time of the day and how tired we were! We also appreciated that the hotel is a little bit out of the way in a nice neighbourhood, there were lots of nice restaurants nearby (notably An Nam next street down to the left, great Vietnamese restaurant) and a few pubs/bars. We booked this hotel as part of a BA package as it was the best value for money and location, I would definitely recommend.||Ps, great pub round the corner called Pitchers, they had a pool table and lots of screens for sport. First time also seeing and trying Pina Colada flavoured cider; it was amazing! ||The only negative was the drain in the shower wasn’t quick enough for the water pressure so having a shower longer than 2 minutes left the bathroom floor quite wet. However, it wasn’t a big issue as we had enough towels and they were changed every day of our stay! I don’t know if this is an issue in just our room or others but it wasn’t bad enough that we bothered...

Everything was more than perfect. We arrived early, so we were allowed to sit luggage and either stroll the city and come back or relax in the comfortable lounge. We decided to stay back. They offered unlimited mulled wine, tea / coffee and ginger biscuits. Apart from that it was the attention to detail that surprised me. Like 2 phone charging stations, computer to surf Internet, ample books and water outlets in the lounge that had multiple sofas to chill out. We were equally impressed with the rooms and other amenities. The rooms, en suite bathrooms, corridors etc were spotless clean, very comfy beds and the advanced TV allowed us to stream movies etc from our phones and play music over bluetooth. There are also other amenities included in the room like safe, tea coffee making, ironing boards etc. There are also 2 fantastic gyms and sauna all included in the room price. The included continental breakfast is great. Everything from cereals, juice, tea/ coffee, hot food, fruits, ginger shots, desert is included in the breakfast. The reception is always friendly and eager to help. We started for 2 nights and the day we checked out, we were allowed to keep the luggage in the store room till afternoon. The location is as good as you can find. Right in the centre, 2 metro stops from Stockholm Central Station and 2 stops from Gamla Stan - the old town. There are bus and metro stations within few...

Clean and modern room (at least the one I was in), unfortunately I didnt get the luxury of a beautiful landscape, instead I got another building straight on my face so I had my curtains closed at all times. I had double room with my boyfriend, bed seemed a bit small for a double size, but we both fit on the bed easy. Theres nice closets with mirrors and a free safe for you to use. As far as I noticed the washing can be left at reception and theyll do it for free, you get free sudoku notepad with your room but mine was missing a few pages.. Neat en-suite with a nice walk-in shower. Small and thin pillows but you get 2 each (for two people) and itll get you through the night easy enough. Small fridge would of been nice..

Hotel seems neat and secure, youve got the usual key cards and after midnight(?) you have to use a code to get in to your building. Breakfast is included to the hotel price (which also was quite cheap considering the location) and there were various different breads and toppings, cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruits... even waffles! (that you have to make yourself, but trust me, theyre worth it).

All in the end, itd be a 5-star-hotel in my opinion, if the place had fridge in the room, better view from the room or more variety with breakfast. I do recommend this place and I would go again if I ever come back to Stockholm (which I...
