Escape Room Stockholm - Quezzle — Attraction in Stockholm

Puzzle - Sherlock vs. Moriarty This is our first experience at this facility, but far from our first escape rooms. I was really excited by the theme, as I am a huge fan of Sherlock, the show, as well as an avid reader of Arthur Conan Doyle's stories. But honestly, there was nothing about this room that pointed to Sherlock or Moriarty besides a few flat images. The props didn't match the books at all (in fact, they contradicted the ACD books) and there was no connection to any kind of relevant story line. Several of the game mechanisms didn't work (one we were warned might be a problem, but in a way that we had no idea which puzzle it would be to look out for) and we wasted considerable game time trying to make them work, until the game master came in and did something behind the scenes to fix. We were not given any additional time for the time spent on the broken puzzles. In fact, the game master made a comment that sounded like it was our fault that the Puzzle A solution did not properly trigger something on the other side of the room for Puzzle B turning on, even though we did successfully solve Puzzle A. As a player, we would have had no idea what else was supposed to happen after Puzzle A was solved, especially given that there is no story line to follow and no connection between puzzles. More time wasted. I was rather disappointed. There were some clever things, for sure, but I left feeling let down by the lack of alignment with a favorite theme and the non-working mechanisms...

Vi var sex grabbar som tog oss an Sherlock! Riktigt kul och spännande. Ena vännen tyckte inte man använda "skallen" så mycket utan man kände på mycket grejer för att se om något skulle hända. Jag tyckte att vi fick använda skallen mer än att känna på vissa grejer. Vi alla uppskattade detta! Det är inte bara ett rum, utan klarar ni ett rum går ni vidare till ett annat rum. Dock i andra rummet så missade vi mycket, men klarade på något sätt rummet ändå. Sergei (guiden som hade hand om oss för dagen) förstod nog inte själv vad som hände, haha!

Varför 4 av 5 stjärnor är väl för att det var lite svårt att hitta/komma in vid ingången. Finns ingen skylt eller dylikt. Det är en port och det finns en porttelefon, men ingen svarar när man ringer via den. Utan är ni framme i porten får ni ringa upp deras mobilnummer som finns på deras hemsida eller länkat till er vid er bokning.

För att knuta allt detta i säcken. Jag rekommenderar detta till alla som vill testa något nytt. Det var första gången för oss alla och det var kul! Alla quest är på samma nivå, sa Sergei. Men Heist ska tydligen vara liiite svårare än alla. Nästa gång lär det bli Heist för våran del!

We played 3 rooms: The Heist, Pharo's Tomb, and, Apocalypse. The Apocalypse was a decent room. The Heist was OK, but I personally dislike too much of the "find the item hidden somewhere" puzzles, which this was very heavy on, and the Pharo room was not good, half the puzzles made very little ä sense/had frustrating mechanics, plus the paint on most things was faded and poorly...
