A place that has great potential to be cosy, but that has not received the care that would take it there. Filled with comfy chairs, it offers a space to sit and eat and have a good time, but the light is cold and comes only from two electric chandeliers in the ceiling. The walls show a few big portraits of old rock stars in golden frames, but other than that the decorations are very sparse and instead you get to view ventilation and other dull details.
Food/fika: there's plenty of pies and cakes that all look nice. I tried a vegan chocolate mousse cake that tasted like it's once been very good, but was now dry after standing around (pre-cut) for a bit too long. Would gladly come back to test the pies, if only the furniture and lighting were...
Read moreMy favorite cafe, and one I frequent at least once a week. They are renowned for their chocolate cake, but the other cakes and pies are great as well. If you are a bit on the hungry side, I would recommend the sandwiches! I've heard customers complain about the prices, but that is generally before they see the size of the generous portions :-)

I’ve been here on numerous occasions and the floors, tables and chairs are always dirty. One would think that in a space where food is being served, that throughout the day the staff would periodically sweep the floors, wipe down the tables/chairs/countertops, and at the end of a shift do a thorough cleaning.
