This Restaurant has a very nice decor. You feel like you are somewhere in France in the twenties. It is located in the heart of Södermalm near Mariatorget (Krukmakargatan 22). The cuisine is inspired by French cuisine. You can eat oysters as a starter for example. It is open from 17:00 and onwards (Tuesday to Saturday).
As mentioned above, the decor is nice, it reminds of a typical provence village restaurant. The entrance is a little bit small and the bar is a little bit "on the way" in, but that is just a part of its' 'uniqueness'.
The service is one of the down sides of this restaurant because it is pretty slow. The waitresses look really nice in their natural and simple old-fashioned look. But if you get there without booking you might be shown to the door straightaway, they don't invite you to the bar for example to wait for a table. The waiters are not very customer friendly, but they are kind. Also they waiters have an original outfit (like from the twenties).
The menu is ok. It all sounds very good on the paper. You can for example eat French classics such as Steak Tartare (with oysters, seems strange to me), steak frites (fries) and moules frites. They also have fish, lamm and classical deserts such as crÚme brulée.
The prices are "average" for Stockholm, a warm dish costs around 260 or 270 SEK in general. But when you see the food you see clearly that it's over priced, no quality. You won't remember this restaurant for the taste. Don't get me wrong, the food is not bad, but you expect something better. Better salad then tired ruccola, better fries than frozen ones. The desserts are also way too expensive (112 SEK for an average crÚme brulée).
The wines are ok, you can find good wines but you'll have to pay around 700 SEK. The cheapest red wine (probably not the best) for example costs around 550 SEK.
So I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. Especially if you haven't booked a table. It deserves a 2/5 for me.

Read moreBeen wanting to come here for a long time and unfortunately it was just a quick oyster pit stop for the premiere visit
The oysters were great though! We came here right at opening on a sunny September day soaking up the last rays of Swedish summer. And we were not alone! Just a few minutes after opening 17.00 the outdoor seating was packed. A great place to enjoy a refreshing beverage and a quick bite.
The oysters themselves have a good deal; 3x oysters for 95 kr och slightly higher to include a glass of champagne as well.
The oysters come with the classic condiments youâd expect and were super fresh
Will be coming back to try out...
Read moreThe restaurant is cozy with simple and delicious food. A 20something chef single-handedly prepared everyones dinner on a Saturday evening. Naturally, there were delays but eventually we got our food and it was worth the wait. Again, nothing extraordinary, just simple salads and grilled stuff; so donât expect to see a Michelin star here. In general, service could have been better; staff seemed a bit young and inexperienced but the atmosphere made up for it. Overall great night but a little overpriced for what itâs worth. I.e. they charge 700kr for a bottle of Bourgogne Chardonnay which retails for 165kr at...
