At first, the service was non-existent and I and my company had difficulty understanding if we were to wait for someone who would take our orders or if we should place our order at checkout. We decided to send in one from our company to place our orders as we had a dog with us. The orders were placed and soon enough we got our starters. The fresh spring roll (shrimp, starter) with tamarind sauce was delicious and in good size. The fried spring rolls tasted good, but maybe somewhat carefully spiced and would have done better with a little sting of a different sort. The main courses were - although visually pleasing (Buns') - of various levels of seasoning. The "Bun thit xao xa" was delicious and well seasoned while the "Bun cha gio" was practically the same as the fried spring roll starter with added greens and rice noodles. The third dish which was the vegetarian "Com chay" was severely under-seasoned and did not taste much at all. The service on the other hand - once we had placed our orders - was utterly good and even the dog in our company was brought water without us even asking for it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There's a lot of potential here and with some tweaks on the initial service and also to the menu there could be...
Read moreCalled servers before arriving, asking if kitchen was open, they said hold on I’ll ask, then they said yea, however it will close in 20-30 minutes however. Arrived 15 minutes later and they said they don’t have what we wanted to order on the menu, so we asked what they didn’t have, they listed 3 items on the menu. Then we asked if we could order this other item, the Swedish server asked the Vietnamese server who asked the kitchen staff, who then said no we don’t have that either. That same process repeated three times. Then we got fed up and left. Fine if the kitchen doesn’t wanna work, but then don’t tell me on the phone that it would be okay and lie to me saying you don’t have the items. Servers were very uncaring and even though we had a friendly and understanding tone you could tell they didn’t value us as customers. At the end when we said okay we’ll leave but this wasn’t okay why did you promise over phone then? They didn’t say a thing but you could tell by they way the looked at you that they really wanted to tell us to go F...
Read moreA bowl of beef needle pho is their top menu in the restaurant. Imho, they're #1 in Stockholm. I've tasted some good noodle pho in a couple of Vietnamese restaurants in Sweden but this place is the best one. The quality of their beef broth will make you want to come again. Not too thick but rich of beef flavor. You'll see glimmering oil fats on top of your soup if you have done eaten your noodles. Their super crispy vegan spring rolls and a cup of hot tea should be ordered as well to get you to really enjoy the South East Asian cuisine for the day. A side note : their branch in ostermalm (Birger jarlsgatan) has more menus to offer but I got slightly less taste of their noodle pho when I was there, again the broth quality.. And their vegan spring rolls were not as super crispy compared to what I...
