We had an amazing dinner at Ristorante Villa Romana in Vasastan! The atmosphere was inviting and family-friendly, which was perfect for us with our 10-month-old toddler in tow. We started with the Burrata, which was creamy and delicious. The Pasta Pomodoro was fresh and full of flavor, and the risotto was simply outstanding—rich and perfectly cooked.

I really liked this place! It has quite intimate, poshy atmosphere, while keeping it cute and cozy with the music playlist they have.

Very average overall. The food is good but nothing exceptional. The setting is rather noisy because of the road and the neighboring restaurant, though it’s not unbearable—Stockholm is generally a calm city. The real issue, however, is the staff. With the exception of the blond, tattooed waiter who was friendly, most of them were unwelcoming, if not borderline rude. When it came time to pay, I felt judged for not leaving a tip on the card machine (tips are earned, gentlemen), and I honestly had the impression that I was disturbing the guy behind the bar. All in all, I won’t be coming back—Stockholm has much better to offer.

Miljön är ganska bullrig på grund av vägen och restaurangen bredvid, även om det inte är outhärdligt—Stockholm är ju i allmänhet en lugn stad. Det stora problemet är dock personalen. Med undantag för den blonda servitören med tatueringar som var trevlig, var de flesta ganska otrevliga, nästan rent av oförskämda. När det var dags att betala kände jag mig dömd för att jag inte lämnade dricks via kortterminalen (dricks måste förtjänas, mina herrar), och jag fick verkligen intrycket att jag störde killen bakom baren.
