Le Rouge - Fransk restaurang — Restaurant in Stockholm

Refrain from going to this place!!!

We wanted to celebrate our friends birthday with some good Lebanese food and a good vibe and thought Le Rouge would be the perfect place especially after seeing pictures and videos from previous guests.

But what a horrible place this was!!! First of all the mocktails we ordered tasted like boxed strawberry juice from Lidl. Then we get the menu but we don't get to choose the food we want, they only serve two options and it is kitchens choice so it doesn't matter if you don't eat meat, or chicken or whatever - you're still getting it and paying for it!

And the servers were not it. They had such a bad attitude and were not helpful at all. We saw people who left due to not being able to choose their food and we regretted not doing the same.

We will never be back here again, we’d rather go...

First of all, it is as far from being a french bistro as a starship is from a banana. To top it off, is uncomfortable, dark as a whale belly and both the food proposals and the overall decor leaves amlle room for improvement. To put it mildly. The wine selection is poor, very poor and usual ingredients (such as fresh bread) are yet to be found. The staff is driven and positive as it is inexperienced. But wait for the best part!!!!... is expensive as hell! Do not get me wrong, I hate to post bad reviews on something that means something to somebody (either because is their job, tgeir investment or whatever) and I know that in Stockholm the bar is not precisly high when it comes to restaurants... but c'mon guys! Gimme something to review positively...

What a flop!

What was supposed to be an amazing dinner, combined with a burlesque show and cocktails, turned out to be a waiting game and a staring contest with empty glasses.

We were waiting for roughly 30 min to get the cocktails, 1h for the appetisers, 1h for the main dish and 1h to pay the bill… Oh and that burlesque thing? Amounted to total of 1 minute of 2 dancers passing by.

The whole thing was a very extremely disappointing experience! The thing that saved my night was the company of my awesome girlfriend! But I highly doubt that she’ll ever go back...
